So for the first time
in my 28 years of living, a guy has been like actively inviting me over to spend the night. And I’m just like self-sabotaging the hell out of myself.
We hooked up a couple weeks ago and it didn’t go exactly as we hoped but we still vibed well and stuff. And since then he’s invited me back and to spend the night and stuff.
And I just don’t get why?? He’s an attractive in shape medical professional with his own house and I’m fat and ugly with a dead end job who lives with family still. Like I don’t get it. I feel like I’m being set up. My whole life experience has shown me to be undesirable and unattractive, and Kemi keeps yelling at me that the man is “clearly interested” in me but I’m debating blocking him because I feel like I’m being set up to get murdered or something.
How do I stop being insane??

hey… i get why your brain is doing that, but this doesn’t sound like a setup at all 😭 it really just sounds like he liked you and wants to see you again i think it just doesn’t match how you see yourself, so your brain is jumping to worst case instead of just letting it be normal you’re not insane, you’re just not used to being chosen like this maybe try starting with neutral affirmations instead of forcing positive ones… like “he’s interested in me” or “this is happening” and let that feel normal first, then build up to the nicer thoughts instead of letting your brain drag you you don’t have to rush anything, but don’t block him either… you’re allowed to be wanted fr 💛
