I'm the one who has to bear legal liability if something were to happen. I can confidently say that minors are protected on this site at the moment. But my goal is for there to be thousands more online users than we currently have now. When the site reaches that point, I cannot in good faith guarantee the safety of minors. Even the biggest platforms like Roblox are facing lawsuits for not being able to protect the safety of minors, and they have teams of people who get paid to do that.
"Minors can still lie and sign up" well then the liability falls on that kid's parents. We'll do the best we can to keep them out but at the end of the day, parents also need to be monitoring what their kids are doing online. From a legal standpoint, it takes the liability off of us.
Minors that are already on this website can stay with parental guidance. It wouldn't be fair to remove them from the platform now, and there's very few of them that we can keep track and ensure their safety.
Also, minors are usually annoying as fuck. The minors on Tengaged were annoying as fuck. I was one of them!
