We have a variety of different games, but I think one thing that's missing is a slow Big Brother style game. This is something we've wanted since October. We tested out the "Sharks" game in December, and it just didn't meet our standards, so it was back to the drawing board. In regards to Castings, I'm not in favour of adding it, but I've been listening to the castings crowd and what they love about it: easy entry for new players and the chance to meet new people. I want to incorporate those elements into a fully fleshed out Big Brother style game instead. What I know so far is that enrolment will occur at the same time each week for everyone. Anyone who signs up during the week will be randomly divided into a house/game. Think Survivor enrolment, but happening automatically every week. The idea here is that as the player pool grows, you're less likely to end up in a game with people you've just played with, which is a key focus of this format. At the same time, I still want it to stay true to the Big Brother inspired experience, that's the identity of the site at the end of the day. The goal is to capture the essence of Big Brother ORGs while offering it in a more casual, accessible, and unintimidating way. Let me know your thoughts and ideas!

decided it might be fun to post a lil mel pov regarding hosting the tournament heheee, okay so from start to finish!! i saw the applications and had stated before that i’d love to do some events here, so i APPLIED! and then hwest14 messages me saying “we’re so iconic” and i’m like tf u on about and i check the kovaze server and see that houston and i had been picked as the first two hosts initially!!! this immediately got me excited cause were friends n think similar in loads of situations! we start brainstorming a tad (non of these brainstorms worked out LMAFAKSKDJDKDK) and yah its just a blast ykykyk then jordie poof itsamodernlife got added to the hosting team and that was also rllh fun!! we divided ourselves into where our skills lie. i chose schedueling cause i’m a GET THIS SHIT GOINGG kinda girl and have no problem managing/bossing people around LMFAOA like WOMEN IN CHARGE IS THE BEST IDGAF!!! but then we find out we only have 2 days until it starts?? LIKE JAW TO THE FLOOOOOR WHEN THAT DESICION WAS MADE SO THIS RLLY WAS THE TIME TO PUSHHHHH and scramble with some last min applications to get a full, varied cast n then within those two days was also the drafting captains, captains choosing their members AND the schedueling for the captains oh my god. i feel like on that aspect more time was needed, to not only reduce stress as a host but also for the captains having to do sm all in one day basically so thats def a learning curve! poof modern houston n i go on call like an hour before the first game starts n were just like talking things through fucking around n i enroll them into a practise game to get the hang of the controls as i’d be hosting the very first game AND WE SEE QUALIFIERS AINT REMOVED AND THERES NO WAY TO TURN IT OFF LMFAOAOAK so i was pooping myself being like oh my fucking god… but then we all came to a solution for that with alfie n bubbles those icons and thank godddd game 1 ran so smoothly cause i was so nervous having to set the BAR for this tournament with jt being the first game n having no example lollol.. during the tournament itself there were some ups and downs, but i think the biggest outlook i had on it was that with 100 people being involved n all having their own opinion, you can never keep everyone SATISFIED but u can try your best to keep the peace. i do think its unfortunate that at times it was kinda forgotten that at the end of the day the event hosts for this tournament are also just human, doing this for the first time while never having worked together in such a setting.. but i’m so grateful to the majority that stayed respectful<3 i was asleep when a big dramatic event took place LMAO so waking up to 100 dms, plenty of pings and what not was jaw dropping cause i had no idea what the fuck went down… but then i saw that it was solved pretty much equally and i think that thing happening was a learning curve to stick to the rules u set up yourself cause who tf is gonna take u srs when u cant follow the rules u made sjdhdjdjdn it was a lesson learned the hard way, but none of us let it break our spirits and we continued to communicate n have fun while combining our strengths as a bunch of rando’s grouped together LOL! i think from my perspective i rlly tried to motivate when it was needed, help when it was needed and just provide a fun experience while remaining ‘professional’ and sticking to the rules that were set up, allowing slight tweaks in those when realising that it wasnt gonna work out that way. overall i had a really really great time and i’m super appreciative of the fellow hosts and sin for allowing us to do our thing, but stepping in when it was needed for guidance (ex. team 10 situation oof) and i rlly hope that everyone enjoyed it!! i want to thank all participants from the bottom of my heart, thank u for playing and having faith in us for creating this experience for yall :) if there’s anyone upset about desicions i’ve made or things ive said/done, feel more than free to reach out to me as any type of criticism is welcomed! i want it to be as fun as possible for EVERYONE so any tips on how to improve on hosting n what not to better myself r appreciated xx IF I EVER COME BACK TO HOSTING cause others deserve a chance too and tbh the shady side of me HOPES to see some people that complained af cause i wanna see how they manage about 100 people LOL you might see me apply to host for the next event, you might not it all depends either way yasss MELANIE OUT BYEEE
