Today, I want to take a moment to acknowledge a difficult personal update. For the fifth time this week, I have been moved down cheesecake’s friends list. This wasn’t easy to experience. Over the years, I’ve shown up consistently. I’ve invested time, emotional energy, inside jokes, late replies answered anyway, and a level of loyalty that doesn’t fluctuate based on trends or moods. I’ve been present during highs, patient during lows, and steady even during repeated, unexpected re-rankings. And yet, here we are again. Being moved down a friends list might seem trivial to some, but to those who value connection, consistency, and long-term friendship, it lands differently. It raises questions about appreciation, visibility, and whether loyalty still counts when new options appear. That said, I remain grounded. I will continue to be myself — thoughtful, supportive, and real — even when it’s not immediately reflected back. Growth doesn’t always look like upward movement, and sometimes resilience is simply staying kind while quietly hurting. To anyone else navigating sudden drops in priority: you’re not imagining it, and it’s okay to feel the sting. Thank you to everyone who continues to see me during this challenging time.
