I haven't done this in a while so ask me anything dev related in the comments and I'll do my best to respond. Mainly regarding Ring but you're welcome to ask anything Dev related in general.

how do u feel about user-generated AI content on the site? do u think it would deter new users from joining? i'd imagine if you were to run ads or promote it somewhere, people would visit the site, see the AI slop, and it wouldn't leave a good taste in their mouth. it could even make them not want to use the site at all i know it isn't realistic for you to ban AI content, and i'm not asking you to, but i'm curious about your opinion, i've only seen you talk about it from the dev side/coding
Not as much a question, but love the ring so far but there should be 2-3 bans per person! This way the comp being played is neutral to both!
1. Also, would you ever think of making games a koinz entry? It may be counter productive as people may join games less but might fix some people going inactive for no reason, a reason to try harder in a game for profit and fix the economy somewhat
1.Can you bring back old comps into the ring such as flags/shapes/words and treasure hunt? 2. Would it be possible to do non elo games vs friends?
Loco 1. Those games haven't been coded under the new system and their deprecated versions won't work on the ring, so it's not really possible and not something we want (no reason to practice comps that have been removed) 2. Yes I'm considering this

AMANDA Maybe! I spend so much time online though, which makes it hard to play orgs without me being on my computer all day.
Levels, why is 20 the maximum? Considering we can have an infinite number of levels? Is it a strategic number? Maybe even +30 -30 would be good, right?
Rio It sort of takes away from the point of blogs which is that the popular opinion is the one that's rated highest (if someone say had a +100 and could just insta-create a top blog)
Diamonds: How can other countries that don't rely primarily on the dollar obtain them? Given that we can no longer make currency conversion transactions, is this just a pipe dream for us foreigners?
Rio What specifically is the issue with currency conversion? Please DM me with more detail and I'll be happy to look into it.

Earning Koinz through blogs? A project in progress? Maybe it will never happen? Or should it already exist, considering that blogs after games are the busiest part of Kovaze?
Rio Potentially, I'm not sure. I think it can easily spiral into plus wars and spamming, which I'm not a huge fan of.
What can we expect from the Carnival payouts? Given that it's a slow-paced game, the payouts will be high, perhaps even higher than Island's?
Rio The game itself will be ~7 days and less effort than Outlasted, but will potentially have more players. It's hard to say what the payouts will be before the game is fully finalised, but I will make sure they are rewarding 😁
Any plans for a Kovaze media part of the site? (i.e. Interviews with reality TV cast, podcasts, Kovaze branding) Have you considered a Kovaze Trading Card Game, with cards of your favorite users?
Malarkey 1. Yes but developing the site takes so much of my time already. I believe we will get to that point some day, but right now I want to focus my attention on improving the experience of the site for our players. 2. Yes actually, last year. It was either Trading Cards or Bingo, and Bingo won the site vote 😁 I think a trading card feature could be cool some day, as like a side feature much like bingo

is treasure hunt coming to the ring?
Alexa No, treasure hunt doesn't work with the new minigame infrastructure we're migrating to so it won't be around for long. The anti-cheat system made it impossible to dig fast because the client had to communicate to the server every time you clicked a square, which takes a split second like it does when you open a deal case.

are there even more minigames in development or did you release all the ones you currently have plans for? are you going to be adding other comps to the ring or is this just the current rotation? i think bans should be active like how they are in league - you ban something the other person bans something and each person should get 2 bans. player 1 -> player 2 -> player 1 -> player 2
Great questions Kemi 1. These 6 were part of a group of 15 minigames, and these were the ones that I felt most confident in. This has always been my process when it comes to making comps, a lot of them don't see light of day. Some go back into development, and a lot get shelved. 2. I'm wary of switching up the rotation too much whilst a season is ongoing in case it disrupts the ladder too much. A planned mid season update could be possible in the future. But I ideally would like some rotation changes from season to season, so that each season does feel different. The more comps I add, the more variety we can have with these rotations, so I'm definitely looking to keep adding comps. 3. I'm not opposed to that! The reason for quick bans is to get people back into queue asap. More importantly, do you think 2 bans per player is the ideal amount? Let me know your thoughts!
Sin 1. oooh fun! are you still taking suggestions on games or? 2. I think a switch up every halfway point would be a great idea tbh. it keeps things fresh. i wouldnt swap out absolutely everything, but maybe like half the comps for another half depending on how many comps actually exist. 3. i think it depends on how many are in the ring rotation. theres like 17? games in the rotation right now. i think doing 2 bans each is more than reasonable.
i had a glitch in the ring when i was challenging loco where it said a challenge was confirmed/coming up (long puzzler) but a different challenge actually came out (match 3), has this glitch been brought up before?
Alexa Interesting, this has been brought up but I haven't experienced it myself. Did it say the wrong challenge on the ready up screen as well? Knowing where the bug is popping up will help me squash it 🪲
Sin No I believe it like randed to the challenge as long puzzler but then the ready up screen put it as match. I may be wrong here tho
Sin It does that, but for me it was match, however I ran into the issue previously with what Alexa said and I think its just lag with the spinner

LilGingy Great! We've definitely been seeing an incline in member account over the past couple of months, but this month especially. The partnership with Ven's Sim has proven effective, and I'm always looking for opportunities to grow both of our platforms :)
