Hey everyone! Its your favorite Wow! A few months ago Sin asked me to make a post commemorating our first official year as a community with a blog inspired by my "Kovaze Iceberg" i made pretty early on in the websites lifespan. And of course were gonna have some Avatar gifs because it really just isn't a Special Wow Blog without our favorite Blue Alien Cat People! However, the Kovaze Iceberg is not what I bring you today (although it is forthcoming)! Instead i decided to choose a part of the sites history (That will find its way onto the Iceberg soon) and do a deep dive on it! Today were gonna go over... GROUP GAMES! "Group Games" have gone by several names in our time as a community across many platforms. Commonly called Orgs, Reality Games, Blog Games, but we tend to call them "Group Games"! Where did "Group" come from? Well on a past Reality Tv Gaming website, the tab where you found these games was called "Groups" and the community dubbed the games played under this tab as "Group Games"! Little history lesson, for those of you who are newer to our niche crowd. A Group Game can really be anything you want it to be! From Survivor, to Big Brother, Hunger Games or even a game centered around modelling or architecture. Theyre hosted by members of our community and feature us, the community, as players! Now that we have established what they are, lets feature a few and hear from some of our favorite Kovazian hosts! We really cant talk about Group Games without talking about Dimitras Next Top Model, commonly known as “DNTM”. DNTM currently holds the record for most members in the Kovaze Group and is currently in its sixth season. I spoke with Dimitra and asked her how she felt about the success of DNTM! “The game has had a huge impact and has now established itself as one of the community’s games, which makes me incredibly happy.I love modeling shows , so being able to host it and give my best in every season brings me so much joy. I know it’s a very demanding game for the players who take part, but at the same time, I believe it’s also a really fun and enjoyable experience because of the way the game has been created and structured” - Dimitra Winners: Fiji Jane ToriMarie LequishaQ MedusaLuh Next is another game with a distinct visual identity… The Block! The Block is an architecture and interior design competition hosted by Jordie! The Block is about to start its fourth season! Jordie had this to say about The Block! “I’ve always loved hosting games and it was really fun getting people involved in something that typically wouldn’t do. A lot of the cast said they got to explore designing and was something that hadn’t thought about and ended up having so much fun. Was also fun getting guests to judge the game as well. Season 4 will be back in October!” Winners: lewis Fiji Mel Moving onto our next Group Game, we have to talk about the biggest Big Brother inspired game our community has ever seen, AmandaSIngs Big Brother! ASBB is a classic Big Brother game but has featured some really wild twists and turns, keeping the Kov-audience on our toes! Heres what Amanda had to say about ASBB! “Hosting ASBB has been the most fun experience I’ve ever had online. Getting to meet so many different personality types & watching them compete is absolutely thrilling every time. Episode 1 RECAP Raai MURDERED (Faithful) BadBeatBryce BANISHED 15-3-2 (Faithful) 21 Vibrant and youthful faces have agreed to enter the castle and play my treacherous game. The players took time to get to know each other and bond over one of society's most divisive subjects: food options. Nick shared his love of cottage cheese and jam on toast. Kurodekira passionately defended Miracle Whip, while Malibu introduced everyone to the British phenomenon known as Salad Cream. alexanderspms revealed his list of hated foods is apparently longer than the cast itself. While our top model Dimitra declared war on blue cheese and cottage cheese. MOVING on to the Challenge! BLOOD VS WATER. This challenge was played differently than any other season so far! Koolness234 didn't understand it at all but wanted to pick Water anyway. Some players started to make it known what they wanted to select. CupidStunt stepped in and proposed an idea of all selecting blood...which would exceed the limit causing all blood players to get up in Danger. This increased their odds of survival from a 1/7 chance. to a 1/21 chance. The cast quickly jumped on board with the idea. For one brief , beautiful moment, the Faithful had achieved perfect unity.....however the Traitors were also a part of that unity too. Jessiejedi was happy they all could agree but begged the killers not to kill her. Opulence responded with their favorite line of "oh my god" and stuartlittle16 went searching for a place to nap. The Traitors decided on our resident Brazilian bombshell Raai as their first target. Ending her dream of becoming the first Brazilian winner of Tex's Trepidation before she even had a chance to attend a Banishment. Needless to say she was the Traitors number one fan. The First Banishment ! JJ26 and Hunter opened up the floor trying to figure out where they even start with such little to go on. Ven opened up about how Traitors in the past would be very active in 1 v 1 convos and wanted to Banish ChloeKay even though she wasn't in the season. With no concrete evidence to work from, suspicion landed on some of the less active players BadbeatBryce , Eagle2ch and Lewis. Mattychamps brought up the fact of Lewis being the first two time player which needed to be looked into. In light of the heat Lewis took aim at Smurf and called him out for putting one word messages to look "involved". In which Smurf responded that he has been talking since day one where others haven't said anything at all. TommyXx also brought up the challenge itself and how it helped the Traitors as much as it did the Faithfuls. Without accusing Amber he wanted everyone to share their opinions on it. Mel and Koolness234 jumped to her defense of the plan as it gave them all the best chances of survival. Eagle2ch and Badbeatbryce knew they were in hot water and tried to defend themselves. Bryce came in strong at the end letting the house know they were playing big brother and they would be losing a Faithful. In a last ditch effort he tried to cast suspension on Lewis. His last moments in the castle he spent having a back and forth with CupidStunt....it was too late for him. Strong concepts can fall apart under questioning, while a player who stumbles may survive if they can prove their potential. As the competition progresses, the assignments will become larger, riskier, and more demanding, testing not only creativity but adaptability, leadership, business instinct, and the ability to command a room. Yes this is 1 blog from final 9 to final 2. Strap in. Previously on #ASBB5… Following the heartbreaking evictions of Maddie and Glitter, the FINAL 9 consisted of Envious Itsamodernlife Jaded James LeQuishaQ Marwane Oren Torimarie and x. Needing to avenge her twice evicted idiot sister, TORIMARIE won the KNOCKOUT HOH competition. She nominated LeQuishaQ and James for eviction. In the COLOR QUEST POV competition, TORIMARIE MADE ASBB HISTORY as the first houseguest to win THREE competitions in a row! By a vote of 4-2… LEQUISHAQ was evicted from the ASBB House. The house was shocked at the vote count, and no one feeling more emotional about LQ’s eviction than Itsamodernlife. He had accepted defeat and had multiple houseguests blocked on discord. The house braced itself for terror when ITSAMODERNLIFE won the SPAMANDASINGS HOH competition. On top of a chaotic HOH, half of the houseguests were about to attend The AngieKStan Meet & Greet! At four different points in the week, those houseguests would skip a ceremony in the house. The houseguests were informed ahead of time that The Angie K Meet & Greet would not change or add to the HOH’s nominations. X skipped the nomination ceremony, and was safe from initial nominations. This did not protect him at the veto meeting. Torimarie skipped the veto draw, and could not be picked to play in the veto competition. This would be nullified if Tori were an initial nominee: Jaded skipped the veto meeting, and was safe from being a replacement nominee. This did not protect him at the initial nomination ceremony. Oren skipped the eviction vote, and lost his vote to evict for the week. At the nomination ceremony, Itsamodernlife nominated James and Torimarie for eviction. In the MEMORY POV competition, JAMES won the Power of Veto and saved himself from the block. In an admittedly emotional move, Mod-ern named Mod- x as the replacement nominee. The final nominees were TORIMARIE and X. By a vote of 2-2, the vote tied. This left the final decision up to HOH Itsamodernlife. Modern faced the house and chose to send X to the jury house. This marked the second time Marwane would vote out X in a Kovaze group game for 8th place. Later in the week X would go on to get 8th place in #DNTM6. I’m proud of you kitten In a surprise to almost no one, Loved Ones James and Jaded (“JAMESDED”) proceeded to win the all of the remaining HOH competitions. At the final 7, JAMES won the BALLOONS HOH competition. He nominated Torimarie and Itsamodernlife for eviction to return the nominations over the last two weeks. In the REBUILD POV competition, JADED won and chose to respect his Loved One’s nominations. Jamesded made it clear to the houseguests that keeping two competitive threats of this caliber for this long would become a game-ending mistake for the rest of them. By a vote of 3-1… THE icon Torimarie was evicted from the ASBB House. Although Tori didn’t reach the final 2 like she did in #ASBB1, Tori proved that she is a top tier competitor in both old school and new school ASBB competitions. Thank you for being a core part of what ASBB has become today & for continuing to change this game Tori 💙 Mourning the subsequent evictions of his closest allies, Oren reflected on the mistakes his allies made in letting “the boys” (James Jaded Envious and Marwane) make it through so many HOH reigns unscathed. Oren proved to be the only houseguest who understood the severity of the situation. From left to right: Dimitra Maddie Glitter LeQuishaQ Starrydash Torimarie Oren planned to give lessons in strategy to his recently evicted allies, Torimarie X and LeQuishaQ. He displayed messages of these three downplaying the loyalty and threat level of “the boys.” With James as the outgoing HOH, it was JADED’s turn to win the classic, unserious, and polarizing A WINNING MINDSET HOH competition. In a 90-minute Crossover episode, #ASBB4 Winner Koolness234 gave HOH Jaded the opportunity to watch the premiere of ESPERANZA ENDURANCE. He shared this reward with his Loved One James, leaving the rest of the houseguests (Envious Marwane Oren and Itsamodernlife) on ASBB slop for the rest of the week. At the nomination ceremony, Jaded nominated Itsamodernlife and Oren for eviction. In the PHANTOM OF THE OTEV POV competition, MARWANE identified the houseguests that Amanda sang about and secured the Power of Veto. Knowing that using the veto would all but force his Loved One Envious onto the block, Marwane felt he had no choice but to discard the veto. With final nominees of Itsamodernlife and Oren facing eviction, OREN was sadly evicted by a vote of 2-1. Oren proved to be one of the best strategic players and we thank him so much for being such a delight to host! We love you Oren ❤️ In a LIVE FINAL 5 ROUND, things moved FAST. JAMES won the KNIGHT MOVES HOH competition (hosted by Glaceon!) and nominated Itsamodernlife and Marwane for eviction. In the FALSE START POV competition, unclear rules and rushed comp judging led to Envious getting mad af when underdog ITSAMODERNLIFE won the Power of Veto. With Jaded as the only other possible replacement nominee, James nominated the chaotic OG ENVIOUS against his loved one Marwane. This marked the first time Wes touched the block across the entire season. Unfortunately, by a vote of 2-0… ENVIOUS became the first and only houseguest to be evicted during two separate live evictions. In both #ASBB1 and #ASBB5, Envious was evicted on his second-closest ally’s HOH when the one person who couldn’t win veto (whom he’d saved the week before in a vote), won the veto. Each time Envious was evicted shortly after becoming the player with the most win equity in the game. Thank you so much for two incredible runs Wes! The FINAL FOUR consisted of James Jaded Marwane and Itsamodernlife. It was JADED’s turn in the rotation to win the WEB OF LIES HOH competition. He nominated Marwane and Itsamodernlife for eviction. In the EVRTNGBAGEL (Neeko) Final POV competition, it was JADED who scored the highest in nearly every event. He did not use the veto, leaving his Loved One James with the decision to evict either Itsamodernlife or Marwane. Based on loyalty and competition ability, James chose to evict ITSAMODERNLIFE for 4th place. Modern’s game moves and social gameplay rubbed a lot of people the wrong way, but made him the ultimate underdog of the season. Modern holds the rare honor of taking out my close friends gay (ASBB1) and x on his HOHs. If you move around & repeat a couple letters of “MODERN” you get “MOD ENDER” and that’s exactly what he was. He admits that this was not his cleanest game, but we loved every minute of the mess. Thank you Modern for two exciting and chaotic runs! The FINAL 3 was set. It was clear that Marwane needed to win the Final HOH competition or he would surely be the final evicted houseguest. In PART 1 of the Final HOH, the houseguests competed in THE BLOGS GAME. In a controversial ruling to (attempt to) wrap this endless season, Jaded was announced the winner of Part 1! In Part 2, James won CROSSWORD. In Part 3, JADED won the FINAL HOH of the summer. In a heartwarming moment, Marwane left wishing the final two the best of luck! Marwane you were my inact king of the season. You and your loved one envious gave us some of the funniest moments of the season thank you so much for having so much heart. #Marvious may have stalled this season a combined 7-8 days but we love you sm.
