The argument became personal again, but Amanda brushed it off and instead celebrated reaching the Final 8. When Jane pressed her on who her true priorities were, Amanda finally answered: “Me and mattychamps.” She then launched into a victory lap for surviving to the Final 8, though she also warned muribolt that her latest move may have left her dangerously exposed going forward. But there was absolutely no time to rest, as the Final 8 were sent straight into their next Individual Immunity Challenge: At Skinnisha’s Tiki Bar, players would repeatedly face off over two cocktails, one safe and one poisoned. Coconut Drift was actually poisoned, eliminating Jane. That left just two: LOVER VS MALIBU Ryan handed Malibu the Maui Ember, and Malibu chose to trust him and keep it. Ryan was left with the Lagoon Whisper. The poisoned cocktail was... LAGOON WHISPER. Which meant Malibu had survived the Tiki Bar and secured herself a place in the Final 7, earning her second immunity win. At Tribal Council, the Final 8 walked in expecting chaos. Him, xcharliex and Nick were introduced as members of the jury. With Malibu immune, the tribe appeared completely split 4–4, and talk quickly turned to the possibility of a deadlock and rocks. Then Jane dropped a truthbomb, accusing AMANDA of constantly playing the middle and warning the rest of the tribe that Amanda would jump ship the second somebody prioritized another ally over her. Amanda barely denied it, openly saying that if her game happened to fall in the middle, then so be it. She listed Lover, Malibu, mattychamps and October as the people she still trusted, before essentially daring Jane to vote her out. It was now time to vote. Before the votes were read, however, Lover stood up once again. For the second time this season, Ryan played a Hidden Immunity Idol on WowPlatinum. It was the exact move that had saved her at the first merge vote and now, once again, her fate rested entirely on whether the majority had written her name down. When the votes were finally read, the answer became very clear. The first four votes were all for Sprite... and none of them counted. For the second time, Ryan had successfully idoled Sprite. Suddenly, the entire vote collapsed onto one person. mattychamps.. Matty. Matty. And with the seventh vote... MATTYCHAMPS. By a vote of 4–0, with four votes against Sprite nullified, Matty became the fourteenth person voted out of Skinnisha Survivor: Hawaii and the fourth member of the jury. Sprite celebrated the move as one she had been calling for since premerge, declaring that Matty had been running the game for weeks. Matty took the blindside well, joking that the cast had given him grey hairs and leaving with his jury vote completely open: “My jury vote is definitely up for grabs for anyone.” Just like that, one of the biggest power players of the season was gone. mattychamps, you were one of the biggest presences of the entire season. From the alliances, arguments and power struggles to constantly finding yourself at the centre of the game, you gave us so much throughout Hawaii. It was genuinely a pleasure having the iconic Matty Champs here, and you will absolutely be missed. FINAL 7. There is nowhere left to hide. Understood what needed to happen in the game and had ppl pressed. 4) Jordie - good gameplayer, social and in general smarter than he lets on. really easy to talk to and just one of the few that can carry a conversation 5) Runaways - VERY good player in my opinion, from my early days on kovaze my interactions with him were that he is a get shit done player, tough to beat and in general a threat, which made me distrust him in the game and want him out eventually. overall a good guy with a brain to back it up 6) gay - your method of playing games is weird but it works, you kinda don't care enough so that you diminish your threat level but sometimes don't care too much to the point that its easy to make moves against you. the ppl were pressed about your popularity, I definitely think you can earn a win in a future game. 7) Nick - you're the definition of a personality hire. you provided entertainment and you're a pleasure to talk to but at least in this game that was kinda it. they were threatened by you so you kinda stood no chance to not get nommed without tryharding 8) Joee - i freaking love joe, hes such a sweetheart. did he play this game? kinda no. was he still one of the most pleasant ppl in this cast ? I wanted to address my ban, the infamous comment and the debate it sparked. My comment was xenophobic and deserved a ban. My intent was not to be xenophobic. I myself am not xenophobic. The three can be true at the same time. To the people defending me while I was gone I appreciate your heart and your good intentions but I deserved to be banned at that time and moderation was absolutely within their rights to do so. They also were fair and kind to me in the process. To the people who are obviously frustrated with some of the exclusionary behavior on this site; I am right there with you. My comment was born out of that frustration. In the hysteria game that ignited all of this, a player decided to keep another player around the entire game nominating people who played the game the whole way through despite this player being inactive and I perceived this as racially/ethnically coded. In my mind, this was the real discriminatory behavior happening, whether that was actually the case or not. There is a real problem with exclusionary behavior on this site from all angles. The problem on my end here is that I generalized two entire groups of people based on the behavior of one individual in one game when I know for a fact that the generalization I made does not hold up to scrutiny. I also did not phrase my comment in a way that accurately conveyed my real frustration and instead it came across as the Kovaze version of “go back to your own country.” Which is not what I want nor what I was mad about. We can be mad about the premades and the exclusionary behavior without bringing it to the level that I did, whether my intention was to do so or not which for the record it was not. I have apologized publicly to the people I harmed and I can do nothing else but move forward and hope that people give me some grace as well. But I am not going to be out here defending my comment as if I am some paragon for those who have lost a game to a Brazilian or Spanish premade. Yes I was frustrated. Yes I was wrong. And we have all been in premades at one point or another so let’s be for real. Thank you for reading if you got this far. I hope the dialogue this sparked can be harnessed for positivity and grace for everyone and a more inclusive environment rather than one where we are pitted against each other based on identity. Unfortunately, I will be retiring from this game mode. Here's why. 1. The Racers are better than me. I'm wasting my time. 2. Repeating comps in race suck. Why am I getting words twice? That's like going to Brazil one leg and going back to Brazil two legs later. It's just silly, it doesn't feel like a real race. 3. I'm already the crowned champion of the Race 2 Tournament, so just based off that I'm the greatest the game mode has ever seen.
