ONE YEAR AGO

https://kovaze.com/game/1246 I ENROLLED IN MY FIRST GAME HERE. After weeks of refusing to register and not wanting to open this can of worms again, I made the leap anyways. I was on my way out on the -old site- but then it abruptly vanished, so I was never able to get the closure for that chapter of my life. It has been so refreshing being on this site, even if I'm not the most active or present user. I am so appreciative of Sin and his dedication and enthusiasm for this place. It's been fun to see what an actual dedicated webmaster can do when they set their mind to it. I've been on other sites with communities that vanished abruptly, never to return, and there's always been a small weird empty void, friendships and relationships with no ending or conclusion lingering. So it's been healing to see the carousel turn once more, never generations of players emerging, and old generations still around to provide that familiar comfort. I hope this year is one of many, many years that kovaze will get to celebrate, thrive, and persevere. Whatever happens next, wherever this site goes, it has long since eclipsed what it's predecessors tried and failed to do, and has been a success. With a year in, I am stoked to see the new Achievement feature. As someone who previously had ZERO achievements and not a single win, it's neat that I now have 4 achievements.. Still no game wins. Never had a top blog, never played celebrities.. BUT I have achievement.
