confuses me as to how it was made into a film? First- The book fucking blows. The language tries so hard to be complex but the only thing it achieves is that you need a fucking thesaurus with you to reread the pages to comprehend them. Second - its literally a story about grooming that is framed as a really hot romance idk It just is not for me and I think people who like it are a bit freakish.
