Celebrities - You Decide
In addition to everything else coming out this month, we want to automate celebrities into a weekly/bi-weekly game. We'll still have the larger Kovaze ORGs (such as the Traitors we had planned for Celebrities 7), but we've decided to call that something else. For now, Celebrities will turn to an automatic game.
We want to pass the ball over to you. What kind of format would you like to see?

itsamodernlife weekly would be soooo bad for longevity of the game/would make a win feel pretty meaningless after a couple years

Celebs just has soooo much potential for different styles of gameplay with the in-game nominations (which is in the hands of players) and the public evictions (out of the players’ hands). No matter what the success of the game lies in the players deciding nominees and the public deciding the evicted bc it is a perfect split of power like it should be.
I will be commenting on this again because celebrities is an important game & mine was my favorite game I’ve ever played. I only played 1 of 6 seasons but my format was the hardest ever played so clock that
Hey queen of celebrities here 👋 Timing: if you want celebrities to mean something I liked sin’s idea of monthly. If it’s weekly the game will lose engagement which is already lower than it should be in celebrities Format: honestly change up the format as often as possible LMFAO?? It should not be comp based at all because even if it’s lucky drop an alliance can game that by saving/risking scores. Use the celebrities 5 format for the beginning, do a top 10 purge, and then regular BBUK format from final 9 to the end. 1 vote per player & 3 nominees is the sole reason celebrities 5 was interesting to me & I’ll tell you rn I’m not playing Stars (a stale game that was easy to gamebot) or Frenzy with random power holders. The early game of these is always boring and 3 nominees with 1 vote each means that even if you only have 1-2 votes you still hold power in the game. It also means nominations aren’t a death sentence so getting nominated isn’t the end of the world. Playing BBUK means that 9 people can run the table, playing random HOH or POV means that gameplay is futile since you can’t predict it. Playing comps is a different game and the comp beasts have enough game modes for them. I was so deeply un-engaged with my game the first night bc I thought I was 100% going up for 16th but the 3 nom format allows players to dodge danger. There was no majority alliance in celebs 5 and that is a GOOD thing. Any alliance of 4+ could only stand for like 2 rounds due to format. Sad because I was excitedddd for the traitors. My input is lowkey important bc I’m like the only person to completely dominate a celebrities so far and yes that’s shade to other players. And mama sin since I know you’re reading this give me back my raffle ticket thx
make the public have an influence over the game but not have a crucial role make it to be a game that feels as different as possible from the obsolete stars version
- Random POV - House nominates 2 persons - The pov can use their power to save someone (every vote against the person saved will not count)

I can tell you we don't want season 2's format and I think the entire cast would agree motherfart, gabco, naughtynacho, lewis, and others

Include the public in to vote for two people, and the top 2 vote getters that the public decides will get 1 nomination vote each (I would keep the % anonymous; so that way if you got votes you don't know the exact percentage and aren't humiliated if you got a large % And I would just add the votes into the rest of the tally--the public wouldn't be able to know who they actually nominated, but the players may be able to figure that out with the vote being displayed like it has been and knowing who voted for who from inside the game. (Or you could add make it visible so the public new---if that was the case, maybe add a +1 to the vote to indicate the publics vote when its displayed. I don't really like when the 2 nominees currently have to rely on the publics vote when nominated. Maybe you could change it to be like 1/3 chance that they face a public vote , 1/3 chance where the remaining players vote who to evict/save between the 2, and 1/3 chance where 1 player makes the decidion. This way it changes up the format day to day based on who gets a say in the eviction, & the public still gets to have a vote each day with the initial nomination vote . Final 3 would still be based on Vote.

Kinda combining a lot of other ideas from here but I liked the OG Celebs format! - 1 nom a person - random POV immunity, I think their vote doubled? - nominate all tied players - vote to save - count vote(s) of person who lost poll - I'd be good with 18 hour days so that no timezones are disadvantaged and so that the games are less frequent overall as I prefer bi-weekly over weekly

OG Stars except the previous evicted players vote that day still counts. so if you get 13th, your vote to nominate for 12th would still go through. that way people are still participating as long as theyre there, instead of the old system where someone will just stop being spoken to if everyone thinks theyre gonna lose the poll

I read a lot of good ideas too, I don't know the level of difficulty in making them happen, but maybe varying things from stars to stars, it seemed like Arena in this case
On Kovaze's return, it would also be nice to have an edition with more people, but if it's weekly, 16 is fine. Now, if it lasted 10 days and another one started, maybe 20 people would take the game to the next level.
I've never played Celebrity Big Brother nor seen it happen, but I think it would be cool for the twist of game 3 to have nominees, but each player can only vote for 2 per round, where the most voted or the least voted leaves the game. This part of only voting for 2 makes it impossible for a group of allies to be sure who the other nominee will be. Maybe it would also be cool to have a HOH to nominate one directly and the other 2 by the house, where each player only votes for 1, things to make the game a bit more dynamic, but mainly to happen every week.

All players nominate two each round, all ties are nominated If you’re evicted, you still submit nominations for the next round since you were part of that day’s gameplay 18-hour DC to give more time for things to brew
I would LOVE for it to be the normal OG format, where the cast votes and the people nominated face public vote…. HOWEVER, throw in a twist where the top 3 vote getters are at risk and the survivor of the previous public eviction has the power to save 1 of the 3 nominees. (Including themselves) This would kinda help if there’s a large group to ensure they don’t steamroll the game. And removed the whole “flavouring” aspect that ruined so many stars games on tengaged
Public pov/immunity or even random pov/immunity. If there’s a tie, send both nominees for eviction. Long term: rotating format between US big brother format and UK format. Bi-weekly would be nice. Big brother USA format would be fun to introduce challenges but still have a public vote for eviction.

I liked the version you did where there was more than 2 noms if there’s a tie. Much like bbuk! I’d love to see that as a regular version of the game

i think a standard format for 2 noms/public vote is probably great for celebrities. 3 noms could be good. you could always implement a publicly voted pov/immunity via poll each week as well, same person cannot receive it back to back? That could give players a really great gauge on public opinion, allowing for some great strategy when nominating someone who the public seems to love the week they aren't safe.
