Extreme and disconnected from society the avg person in a humanities course is. Td in class this girl was saying people who stay apolitical are horrible people and inherently evil fascists. And the second I pushed back respectfully with her point saying that, that’s a bit unrealistic and I think nuance is important and letting people form their own opinions over time is also important and then this bitch starts calling me a racist maga republican (which is the last thing I am) and I really wanted to fucking slap her on the face, people like her are so fucking out of touch oh my god
