Is there a BB season

That feels as out of place in the show's continuity as BB9? It really felt like they cast people that thought they were going on a dating show and had no idea what Big Brother was or how it worked. The first few episodes when they have the couples twist is edited like some sort of weird Love Island/Big Brother deformed child show. Some of this probably has to do with the fact that the season was thrown together so CBS would have something to put on TV during the 2008 writers' strike. They also dial the "2000s reality trash TV" vibes up to 11. It's definitely a bottom-tier season for me but it still has this sort of strange off-putting charm because of how weird it is.
