My bf was shadowing
In a hospital today and told me how he saw a 20smth year old guy die because he was a Jehovah’s witness and refused a blood transplant and I’m not the one to religion blame but that just sounds so dumb to willingly kill yourself because of some rule your religion says against blood that makes no sense

Religion loves to kill, it's very tragic. Imagine losing a son because you indoctrinated him with shit like that. It's evil, and this also will happen to young kids and their parents will deny the blood transplant and the minor will die. SHould be abuse.
yeah that fucking sucks. Likely he was raised with it so indoctrinated that in his head it was "Accept this and live but go to hell" or "stay pure for heaven" or whatever also, hung up on the first part, when did you get a boyfriend!
Cherry yeh esp because idk if he would’ve made that seem descison as he got older and more independent And like 4 months ago lol
This happens a lot with Jehovah's witnesses, It's really sad. I'm very anti-theist in general, but this is especially avoidable and upsetting.
