Spritevivor S1E5

Spritevivor Season 1 Episode 5: "The Fool" Previously on Spritevivor, after an abysmal performance in the challenge, Tribe Zangke was sent to tribal council. Stayc had her can crushed in a unanimous vote. It was revealed that Janelle would be entering the game after the tribe arrived at their camp outside the fishing village of Awa'atlu. Arriving at their camp, there was very little tension in the air. The entire tribe felt united and relieved to be rid of someone who didnt want to be there. The good vibes were quickly put to a halt when Janelle, famous model and DNTM2 winner, showed up at the camp. Janelle shared that she would be joining the tribe. Immediately, everyone looked around to gauge the reactions of their fellow Zangke members. Kallie, Gabs, Cruz and Glitter embraced Janelle. They all together caught her up on whats happened in the game so far, while Jordie and Amanda hung back. Jordie and Amanda discussed their relief with eachother about having someone on the tribe whos new and easy vote-off. Elizabethan built a sandcastle. That night at Zangke, Janelle bonded with her tribemates and seemed to gel with everyone quite well. Kallie was very distant and spent most of her time with her spiders and bugs. Amanda stayed far away from Kallie. The next day... After a restful sleep, the tribes were sent to the reef for their next challenge. As the tribes arrived, Sprite welcomed them and showed the new Zangke tribe to the rest of the players. PosterBoi, Fiji and Angelique were excited to see Janelle, a friend from home. Most of the rest were annoyed at the growing size of the cast. It was time for Sprite to share the challenge with the group. This challenge would be hosted by special guest So'lek of the Sarentu clan! So'lek explained that for this challenge, the tribes must come up with a story! The Sarentu clan are nomadic storytellers, and as their newest member, So'lek needs some inspiration for his first big story! Immediately, writer Posterboi jumped up and down in excitement. Gabs was quite excited too, being a songwriter. Connor and Doug both shifted uncomfortably, scared of a challenge about creativity and not physical prowess. Connor whispered to Doug that they should be alright as they had PosterBoi on their team. The castaways were given 3 hours to come up with a story and a pitch for So'lek. At the Kelutral tribe, Rainolds took charge. He gathered everyone and organized everyones thoughts. He worked on the story while others chimed in with their ideas. At one point, Edgar suggested "°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･°❀⋆.ೃ࿔*:･" but Rainolds just wrote a smiley face. At Seze, PosterBoi ignored his teammates completely and wrote the story entirely on his own. Marie had tons of ideas, but PosterBoi just kept writing and took none of hers into consideration. Sam, Connor, Doug and Zach were okay with hanging back and letting him do all the work. During all this, the Zangke tribe worked together well. Elizabethan led the charge on writing a comedic story with a ton of heart. Gabs lent some impressive prose, and Cruz had a surprisingly good vocabulary to help out the tribe. It came time for the tribes to present their stories. Kelutral went first. Rainolds shared his story. The Kelutral tribes story was a simple one about recovering from a loss of a friend named Tad and an evil witch named "Anjalique", much to the shock and anger of Angelique. Tisha giggled at the shade. So'lek nodded after the story was done. Pleased enough, but not particularly satisfied. Seze was next. PosterBoi pushed his teammates to the side and gave the presentation of his story. It was a beautiful story, with a perfect beginning middle and end. Unfortunately, this story was all about Pop Culture in Kovazia! It meant nothing to So'lek. The tribe sighed, knowing if he had listened to their ideas he couldve made something much better. So'lek stared blankly, unimpressed. Finally, Zangke shared their story. The entire tribe came together to share the story, with Elizabethan excellently delivering the jokes and Gabs doing a small musical performance. After the performance, So'lek simply painted on his Sarentu markings and left the challenge area. Sprite revealed the winner.... Zangke! The Zangke tribe celebrated, knowing theyd be safe and that they had helped So'lek find inspiration for his story. Kelutral and Seze all sighed, upset theyd be going to their own respective tribals. Fingers were pointed and Edgar made a particularly explicit emoticon we wont share, but it was all for naught. The tribes were told to return to their camps, and that soon two of them would be going back to Kovazia.
