I'm now re-energized and ready to commit to university; but more importantly, I'm ready to kickstart my career. - Because of my dedication, one of my math teachers I adored sent me a lovely internship opportunity that I can apply to this fall and offered to write me a letter of recommendation for it. Best part is, her husband works for said company. Networking! - A needle punctured the side of my tire and I didn't have a spare... so I had to get it replaced. The cost was enough for me to learn how to replace a tire myself so I went to my uncle's mechanic shop for a couple days and now I know how to replace my tire! - Working on my first project to add to my resume; it's a WIP but I want to make a model that will effectively predict how much sediment is in a selected river in my general region. - Random but practicing my French and improving my Spanish; I want to be able to at least be advanced to superior in Spanish, and I need to retain my French fluency because I'm not speaking enough of it at home. My browser spazzes out and opens a new tab while i'm doing lucky drop and it saves 0 when I still had a score of 1000. It's okay bc it's weakest link. Next comp is balloons and I'm bottom 2 cus my comp saved 0. Okay that's fine. I get 1700 and smile because the balloons lag didn't affect me. I close out and see my score is 1000, but I think it's a bug bc it's on my phone so I refresh. Nope, the score stayed 1000 because somehow my game saved my lucky drop score from a round prior instead of my current balloons score. For some reason. Sin girl get UPP cus what is going on.

About 2 months ago or so I made a blog giving tips on the competitions here: https://kovaze.com/blog/85563 Well now it's updated! Now that we have 4 new comps, I added them alongside the other minigames (and the 3 retired ones for when they come back). In case you're too lazy to check: WaterTank Preferred Device: Any Average: 5k Good: 6k WaterTank is the best comp on the site. It's really simple, it's easy, it's quick, and most of all, it's never luck based; only your own skill and perception. My biggest tip for WaterTank for those of you who just want to get out of the 4k abyss; STOP PLAYING IT RISKY! Stop trying to get those 900 scores and aim for 750-800. If you get 8 rounds of a score of 750 that already breaks 6k and you're in the A tier for WaterTank. My personal strategy is to use my cursor/finger to follow along after the water goes invisible so I don't go over, with a combination of counting to see how long it takes for it to go invisible (and repeating those increments in my head so I don't get lost). It works 90% of the time! Weightlifting Preferred Device: PC Average: Like 6-7k Good: 10k The other fully skill based comp, because it runs the same every single time. Unfortunately, it's probably going to get taken down again bc of the glitching but whatever.bThis was one of my favorite comps when it was first released, even though I was HORRIBLE at it lol. When you understand weightlifting, your average will slowly get better until you reach a certain point! Connor made a blog about how to do weightlifting that I think helps, so I'll drop it here: https://kovaze.com/blog/112036 I'll make a video on the gameplay later, but basically you NEED to actively be pressing back and forth to keep the ball in the green starting around the silver bars. When it's bronze, I don't even tap my arrow keys until about 12 seconds in, and even then I only tap like once to twice until it reaches 30 seconds. Basically, the weights gradually need you to tap/press/hold more as the timer goes on until you're basically HOLDING down for dear life. Around silver is when you need to start aggressively tapping to keep it in the green, because you score alot more points when it's in the green, and it's infinitely harder to score points when the bars are gold compared to silver. Once you get to gold you're basically tapping and holding to keep it centered, and it becomes endurance; how long can you last? I'll make a video on the gameplay later. Balloons Preferred Device: A TOUCHSCREEN DEVICE. Average: 1200 Good: 1400 Honestly I'm not the best at balloons... I only pop like 400 balloons every round. The biggest advice I can give is to prioritize speed over accuracy because the more sets you go through (unless you're really bad...) the more balloons you'll correctly pop, which correlates to more points. My one thing is, ESPECIALLY if you have specific devices that don't register your taps well? Tap HARD. And AGGRESSIVELY. Because otherwise you might end up popping like 5 small balloons before you realize that big balloon you thought you popped was still there. The lag on Balloons needs to be fixed. TreasureHunt Preferred Device: A TOUCHSCREEN. Average: 600 Good: 900 Some of yall 'bout to be real mad at me... but it must be said. NO LONGER will we gatekeep TreasureHunt strats. Now if you're Evan you're going to do some crazy strategy and get like 1300, but if you're the rest of the Kovazian public... you just want something fast and easy. So let me tell you the trick. Pick a corner, any corner. You get a number? Go up/down/left/right (whatever you choose will work) that many spaces. If you hit a corner, turn the corner and continue until you're at the space. Then, tap that space. You get another number - an EVEN number. (Unless you messed up.) NOW. You have to go DIAGONALLY HALF the number you get. I'll upload a picture later that explains what I'm talking about, but here's an example: I start at the bottom right corner. I get the number 5. I go UP 5 spaces. I tap that square. I now get the number 8! I will go DIAGONALLY 4 spaces. In what direction, you may ask? DOWN AND LEFT, because I started on the BOTTOM RIGHT - I have to go the opposite of what side I started and I go in the same directon that I STARTED in. I'll also link a video to this gameplay! Sometime tomorrow I'll drop links of me playing some comps that I think are best explained with a visual demonstration. Until then, I hope these tips help!

Honestly I love the traitors so I was so happy when I was the last one admitted... I was ready to catch a traitor or two. Well I didnt need to put much effort to catch the traitors bc I knew them all...! Since I was one. Ive played so many traitor orgs and never have I been a traitor; I always ask to be a faithful because that's where I have more fun. So to be given a murderous role for once was exhilarating but also nerve wracking asf. Not to mention I was afk for most of the season because of finals. I'm secretly happy that I was a traitor, though. Because I'm confident i would have been murdered early as a faithful like Batya was. The traitors turret was kinda empty but was filled w camp people. There was me, the most self interested traitor, aries, the supporting traitor (who didn't do much supporting), venharim, the smartest traitor who unfortunately got clocked too early for us to win, and Sprite, the main character traitor and final girl who had the best arc out of us all. We were kinda dysfunctional and honestly we shouldve lost so early but we got lucky with the fuckery that was going on in that mansion honey... Sprite and I immediately got jumped by muribolt and Hare for meta reasons and some haphazard logic of activity but if I'm being honest their reasoning had to do with their expectations of how we'd play... and we were underperforming in their eyes. And this started the seasonlong battle of me having to defend myself against shaky game logic (aka gut/intuition). I had the aura of a traitor and I had to fight that aura every business day, work overtime, check into the office on weekends, all while I had exams. I thank Poof for throwing the mansion way off base and CalamityKnight for being a legend. You deserved sm better. Along the way, I did in fact throw my fellow traitors under the bus. When I caught heat initially, I pointed out aries' sabotage and it bought me time. I consistently dropped seeds about Sprite's behavior as a "faithful." And the nail on the coffin was me voting in Sprite and Ven instead of muribolt. Now, I was going to switch my vote from Sprite to muri once the votes were there but I forgot... but the fact still lies that I was willing to sacrifice a traitor if it made me look better. Spoiler alert; it didn't. Sprite fought hard while I was hard at work irl, and she ended up being the final girl. I do think the traitors couldve won if Ven and I had listened to our guts and killed desh when we suspected he was bluffing abt his second shield, but we played it too safe. Also if Ven and I had thrown lucky drop LMAOOO. The lengths we go to look innocent only for it to blow up in our faces. I am proud(ish) of the traitor performances for how early some of us got jumped, and it was a decent season overall from a production standpoint. Just wasnt the most fun to play for me. Best faithful goes to muribolt for sure, with Batya desh SurferSorbet coming close behind. Poof was definitely the best big brother player...! And while i don't think Envious did anything noteworthy enough in the season to justify his win, I'll congratulate him nonetheless. I think if this started off as a public voting type of traitors, it wouldve gotten a bit more engagement, but it is what it is. Hugs my fellow traitors.
