The feedback for the first test run was already good, but the feedback for this version of the game has been overwhelmingly positive. It’s always a good sign when early boots are saying they feel like the game is perfect, because that rarely ever happens. We’ve heard your feedback and will be applying the final touches to make the game perfect :) Now my question to you is: how would you like enrolment to work? The reaping was fun, but it’s not something we can sustain forever. Enrolment will have to be automated - but would you prefer it to be a weekly game, or enrolling every time the current game finishes? What about the cast size? We want to keep the game feeling special, but we also want it to be accessible. Let us know what your thoughts are! As for Labyrinth: with every comp we add, the first few days are a trial run to gather general thoughts and find all the bugs there are to find. We feel like we have all the feedback we need, so we’ll be disabling it while we work on that. There is also a version of Maze that works exactly like the old version, but allows phone users to tap to move. We might enable this comp for a trial run if it passes internal testing, but this is still up in the air. The next month will be heavily focused on polishing existing features, such as looking into minigame bugs (I’m looking at you, Shapes!) and whatnot. While we will have some new additional features, we’ll also be saying goodbye to Boutiques. The reason for this is explained in the comments of this blog: https://kovaze.com/blog/70033 . Boutique renewal will be disabled sometime this month, with the feature officially removed once the last boutique’s lights go out. P.S… Practice Comps and Auctions are on our radar 🙂

don't have free reign to whatever they want. I'm always overseeing their decisions and they are always consistent with the decision I would have made. And for some reason people will get penalised and the first thing they do is blame the same two users, neither of whom are moderators 😭 This isn't @ anyone in particular but 95% of the site has a clean slate, so if you're constantly being penalised there may be a pattern here and it's not a moderator that has it out for you.

I got 6.4k earlier and just got 400 because I got the most impossible maze? idk if there's a way to give everyone in the game the same maze but we need it honey if so. and side note why are we adding more comps and not making chain pop colorblind accessible? I hate to complain but this was an issue I talked about 3 months ago and was told there's a fix coming....

I love the new comp design. But the fact that some people can play it at hyper speed and others it moves turtle speed is crazy. Like the ball moves like its in space on my screen, where some others its moves like it weighs 10 tons and drops straight to the bottom of the board. Can someone help me understand this from a technical level. I have no issues with speed on any other comp.

Since I apparently have endless opinions about Royale, I’m making a series of blogs to break down my perspective, what I’ve learned, and what I wish I knew sooner. Hopefully it could help others who'd like to play or want to play again! Here's a link to blog #1: https://kovaze.com/blog/70443 Here's a link to blog #3: https://kovaze.com/blog/70668 Category: The Middle Phase – Alliances, Movement, and Trying to IRL This is the phase where the bloodbath ends, everyone spreads out across the map, and the game turns into a mix of strategy, stamina management, and hoping nobody jumps you while you are doing something normal like working, on a phone call, or cooking your wife a grilled cheese sandwich on her birthday (cough, cough, Evan in his Royale...I'm sorry). 1. You need people. A lot of people. I honestly think this phase requires a large alliance, something like 15 people, or at the very least being well connected enough in the cast (which I considered myself to be) that most people are not looking to attack you. This part of the game feels very social or at the very least being on good terms with people makes a huge difference. The map matters more than you think. Literally, it's all about the map. Everyone starts moving around the map, which is set up like an Excel grid and very much not the Grabber grid, which I learned the hard way lol NaughtyNacho...so letters across the top and numbers down the page. 3. Playing while offline is rough. And it is the worst part of this whole experience for me. And it is time I talk about that. I was at work for a large portion of this phase, but I was connected enough socially that people let me move and collect, and I was not constantly worried. When I did get worried I had to sit there constantly REFRESHING the screen to see if someone was in my area or came through my area trying to find me. Yes, if you are not refreshing people can find you unless you are constantly refreshing and you'd never know. If I had been in a cast where I did not know many people, trying to play this phase while working would have been extremely hard. You will get jumped. Hands down. There is really no way to defend yourself unless you are refreshing constantly to see if someone enters your part of the map and starts using weapons on you. There is no like "I'm at work doing real life stuff" mode, which is so hard and unfortunate and I think the ONE MAJOR thing that needs looked at and possibly modified. Sin 4. Camo mode is helpful, but not a guarantee. After about 15 minutes offline you go camo and cannot be attacked directly, but if people find you they can still use weapons and take you out very quickly (back to my point that if you go offline for work or sleep, there's no way to protect yourself). This actually happened to me once, and if I had not popped back online when I did, I would not have made it as far as I did...I got lucky. 5. This was honestly the hardest part of the game for me. Of everything so far, the lack of defense while offline was by far the most frustrating part. Not everyone can sit and click refresh all day, and this phase really punishes you if you cannot. 6. Movement is everything. Seriously, everything. If you are online and can defend yourself, the number one defense in this entire game is movement. Your stamina is key. Energy packs are basically liquid gold. There are these things called Kovazebees you can use to move yourself and others in you area that can come in clutch. And there's teleport, which I didn't find many of but seriously the best thing in the whole game imo. 7. Stamina management is critical, and a little confusing. The lower your stamina gets, the longer it takes to refill, which feels backwards to me and to a lot of other players. My number one piece of advice is always make sure you can move (stamina, energy packs, Kovazebees, teleport). Always. If you cannot move and someone jumps you, you are pretty much done. TLDR: Real life is the real final boss. Movement is the best defense and offence in Royale. Period. Argue with me, idgaf, it's true. Comp scores mean nothing. If you get jumped while you are at work, sleeping, eating, in a cast you don't feel really safe with... you are in trouble. The game does not care that you are being a good employee or sleeping. I'm not saying that we should be able to hide from the game for hours and hours a day but if we are truly offline I don't know why weapons can still be used for the amount of people and weapons in the game. Maybe a sleep mode set to a max of 6 hours offline, maybe we can be idol with no damage for a few hours, or we start the game with 3 sleep pills or something...idk...I am tired. LOL

A classic sign of a #groomer: a user who takes an interest in brand new members of a community. The groomer targets someone who doesn’t have a strong social circle because they are easy to manipulate. This stuff is about power and the groomer lacks that irl which gives them low self esteem. You don’t feel a low self esteem when someone trusts you as a leader or mentor to them which makes this kinda stuff addicting to them. That’s y I’ll never be in support of a welcome committee bc I’ve seen this story before and it gets reallyyy bad. Carry on and feel free to guess who I shaded in this blog….

where every round u get a new teammate..

was the me and jaded suicide bombing mission last night at like 3 am. I was on call with him and we both had one teleport left because we had been running around the map trying to find leehoyminoy, so we link up at a square and I threw a kovazabees praying one of us would land in his square and of course we dont. Our only play after that was for one of us to get lucky with the square we teleport to, so I told jake just use his last teleport and go to sandy dunes cause I had a random gut feeling about that square, and all of a sudden jake screams that leehoy was there. We realize though jake has no way to leave cause he had under 20 stamina so he decides to just kamikaze and he yells at me to throw all my bombs at their location. I sent my 8 bombs flying so fast but the noble queen of royale jaded didn't realize she only used one out of 3 of her bombs which gives lee just enough time to health pack at 10 health left, and Jake couldn't even figure out how to use his health pack so he just dies and I teleport in with my last one and ofc lee is already gone. It was giving scripted hunny sin would not let lee or me leave the game
