🎬 EPISODE 05: FLYIN' SOLO Keep up with the drama live! https://discord.gg/7hCwtZcmG 🔥 Mathematical Mayhem, Familiar Faces in the Arena & The Biggest Game-Changing Announcement Yet! Five episodes into The Gauntlet, and the competition has already been turned upside down. We've witnessed explosive arguments, unexpected betrayals, brutal eliminations and more partner swaps than anyone could have predicted. Last episode, the shocking PURGE sent three contestants packing, wiping Team Purple and Team White completely off the board. With just six teams remaining, the challengers were beginning to realise that the endgame was approaching much faster than expected. 🧮 DAILY CHALLENGE #5: MATH CRYPTIC For the fifth Daily Challenge, contestants were faced with a test of mathematical ability, concentration and problem-solving. Players had to solve a series of mathematical equations, using their answers to gradually uncover a hidden message. As always, both partners' completion times would be combined to determine their team's final score. This week, only ONE team would hold Tribunal power, and the team finishing last would automatically face elimination. 🏆 OFFICIAL DAILY CHALLENGE RESULTS TRIBUNAL 🥇 1st - 🟦 Team Blue - mel & chloekay: 4:58 2nd - 🟥 Team Red - ven & starry: 5:54 3rd - 🟨 Team Yellow - glitter & lks3099: 6:41 4th - 🟧 Team Orange - shmevo & lime: 7:33 5th - 🟫 Team Brown - jordan & theCEO: 8:11 💀 Last - 🟩 Team Green - goomybear & rkios88: 8:40 🟦 TEAM BLUE TAKES THE VICTORY! 🏆 mel and chloekay are back on top. After winning the second daily challenge, they have consistently been performing near the top of the leader board and secured another first place finish. They have sole control over the house vote this week, being tasked sending in ONE team for the house vote. Meanwhile, Team Red delivered a strong second-place finish, with Ven and Starry securing their highest placement since the opening challenge. Newly formed Team Yellow also impressed, as Glitter and LKS3099 finished third in their first Daily Challenge together! But at the bottom of the leaderboard... 💀 TEAM GREEN: BACK IN THE DANGER ZONE! 🟩 GOOMYBEAR & RKIOS88 For the second time in three episodes, Team Green found themselves finishing dead last. And this time, there would be no missed-challenge penalty to blame. ⚖️ THE TRIBUNAL: TEAM BLUE TAKES CONTROL This week's Tribunal consisted of just ONE team. After discussions 🟦 Team Blue - mel & chloekay decided to send in 🟨 Team Yellow - LKS3099 & glitter. After finishing third in the Daily Challenge, Team Yellow suddenly found themselves facing the House Vote. For Glitter, who had only just returned to the competition after spending Episode 4 as the Hang Nail, this was an unwelcome development. And for LKS3099.. Well, let's just say the Arena was becoming a VERY familiar place. 🗳️ THE HOUSE VOTE 🟨 LKS3099 - 8 VOTES 🟨 GLITTER - 2 VOTES 🚨 LKS RECEIVES 8 VOTES! 🚨 Once again, LKS3099 was heading into elimination! After surviving the Arena against Tayvie in Episode 2, stealing Keith as his partner, winning a Daily Challenge, and then losing Keith during the Purge... LKS3099 had experienced just about everything The Gauntlet could throw at him. 🟩 GOOMYBEAR or 🟩 RKIOS88 And LKS made his decision. ⚔️ HE CHOSE RKIOS88! ⚔️ 🧩 THE ELIMINATION ARENA: CONNECTIONS 🟨 LKS 🆚 🟩 RKIOS88 The fifth elimination was a CONNECTIONS PUZZLE, challenging contestants to identify groups of 4 words out of the 16 words presented to them. 🏆 LKS3099 WINS THE ELIMINATION! 🏆 For the second time this season, LKS entered the Arena and emerged victorious! 💀 RKIOS88 HAS BEEN ELIMINATED 💀 Rkios becomes the next contestant to fall in The Gauntlet. After surviving one elimination, clashing with Goomybear and choosing to remain loyal to his partner, Rkios's journey finally came to an end. Just like that, one of the season's most talked-about partnerships was over. 🚨 THE BIGGEST TWIST YET: SAY GOODBYE TO YOUR PARTNERS! As the fifth elimination concluded, it was announced to the players that all teams have been dissolved and we are entered phase two of the gauntlet where they will compete to get to the final by themselves! The Gauntlet has officially entered its second half. The remaining challengers are: 🟥 VEN 🟥 STARRY 🟧 SHMEVO 🟧 LIME 🟨 GLITTER 🟨 LKS3099 🟦 MEL 🟦 CHLOEKAY 🟫 JORDAN 🟫 THECEO 🟩 GOOMYBEAR Every contestant has officially entered the individual phase of the competition! 📺 EPISODE 05 — THE RECAP 🧮 DAILY CHALLENGE: Extended Math Cryptic 🏆 DAILY CHALLENGE WINNERS: 🟦 Team Blue 💀 BOTTOM TEAM: 🟩 Team Green 🚨 TRIBUNAL NOMINATION: 🟨 Team Yellow 🗳️ HOUSE VOTE: LKS — 8 votes ⚔️ ELIMINATION: LKS vs Rkios88 🧩 ELIMINATION GAME: Connections 🥇 ELIMINATION WINNER: LKS ❌ ELIMINATED: Rkios88 🔮 NEXT TIME ON THE GAUNTLET... SHMEVO has been a consistent force in Daily Challenges, but now he has to prove she can deliver without a teammate. LKS3099 has survived two eliminations and countless partnership changes. Is he becoming the biggest threat in the game, or the house's favourite target? GOOMYBEAR has survived another week, but with Rkios gone, he's finally free to compete on his own terms. And what about VEN, the winner of the original Opening Challenge? Could the solo format be the opportunity he needs to reclaim the top spot? The alliances formed during the pairs phase are still there. The grudges haven't disappeared. 🔥 11 CHALLENGERS REMAIN. TO BE CONTINUED... 👀🔥 #THEGAUNTLET
