The Haus Has Eyes Ep 7 Music Legends

Tajh      ❤ 22    ▲1

👁️ THE HAUS HAS EYES 💋 ELEVEN QUEENS. ELEVEN RUNWAY LOOKS. AND A WHOLE LOT OF MUSICAL IDENTITY CRISES. Hello, my beautiful sinners, fashion criminals, and musically challenged divas! Your favorite judgmental queen, Onyx Royale, is BACK, and baby, somebody better turn up the volume because the Haus has officially entered its MUSIC LEGENDS era! For Round 6, our remaining eleven queens were challenged to transform themselves into iconic music legends. The assignment wasn’t simply to wear something fabulous. They needed to capture a recognizable artist while maintaining their own drag identity. And here’s the twist: Nobody told me who they were portraying. So tonight, I’m judging the fashion, the creativity, the execution, and most importantly, whether I can identify the damn singer! Some queens understood the assignment. Some queens elevated the assignment. And some queens apparently received an entirely different syllabus. Let’s get into these looks! ⸻ 💎 1. FAYE CHANCEY ROE — GuiltyAsSin ONYX’S GUESS: CHER Faye, darling, you walked onto this runway looking like somebody emptied an entire jewelry store onto a Las Vegas showgirl, and I mean that as a COMPLIMENT! The turquoise, the gold, the cascading embellishments, the feathers, the exposed midriff? This is giving me vintage Cher with a Bob Mackie fantasy budget. And the movement! That feathered cape brings drama without swallowing the woman wearing it. There’s an elegance to this presentation that makes it feel like a proper stage costume rather than somebody’s expensive Halloween experiment. But here’s my issue: Cher has an enormous fashion history, and this particular silhouette could belong to several legendary divas. The inspiration is there, but I’m not getting an immediate, unquestionable identification. ONYX’S VERDICT: Beautiful, glamorous, and absolutely worthy of a headline performance. But I need the musical identity to be just as strong as the rhinestones. Score: 8.7/10 ⸻ 🎸 2. MUMMY — TommyXx ONYX’S GUESS: GENE SIMMONS — KISS OH, YOU CAME TO ROCK THE HAUS DOWN! Mummy, the second I saw that black-and-white face paint, towering hair, and those outrageous metallic wings, I heard an electric guitar somewhere in the distance. This is KISS, baby! And I’m leaning Gene Simmons. What I appreciate is the commitment. You didn’t throw on a leather jacket and call yourself a rock star. You went full glam-rock monster, complete with enormous spikes, psychedelic metallic colors, and platform boots that look capable of crushing somebody’s dreams. Is it subtle? Absolutely not. But when has KISS ever been subtle? My only critique is that the costume becomes so visually explosive that the actual silhouette gets a little lost. There is a LOT happening, and every element is fighting for the microphone. But baby, I recognized the inspiration almost immediately. ONYX’S VERDICT: Loud, outrageous, recognizable, and deliciously ridiculous. That’s rock-and-roll drag! Score: 9.0/10 ⸻ 🕺 3. ORGASMIQUE — Torree ONYX’S GUESS: MICHAEL JACKSON SHAMONE! Orgasmique, baby, I knew exactly who you were before I finished looking at the photograph. The red-and-black styling, the military-inspired buckles, the dramatic hair, the glittering glove, the white socks, and those black loafers? MICHAEL JOSEPH JACKSON HAS ENTERED THE BUILDING! What makes this successful is that you’ve taken several recognizable elements of Michael’s performance wardrobe and reinterpreted them through a sharper, more futuristic drag lens. The long fringe creates movement, the fitted silhouette gives the look structure, and that glove is practically a musical signature. Now, I would have loved one even more unexpected couture element to push the look beyond a luxurious tribute. But I cannot deny how effectively you’ve communicated your legend. ONYX’S VERDICT: Recognizable from across the room. A polished tribute with a strong drag transformation. Score: 9.3/10 ⸻ ✨ 4. JORDIE — Jordie ONYX’S GUESS: CHER Jordie, honey, you look EXPENSIVE. The impossibly long black hair, the shimmering barely-there crystal embellishments, the feathers, and that dramatic body-conscious silhouette are giving me vintage Cher. And baby, the body is BODYING. There’s something wonderfully unapologetic about this look. You understand that sometimes a powerful runway presentation doesn’t require enormous props or a thousand accessories. Sometimes the silhouette, the hair, and the attitude do the talking. However, here’s where the challenge gets interesting. I already guessed Cher for Faye, and your interpretation is much closer to Cher’s famous barely-there performance aesthetic. But without a specific iconic reference, I still have to consider whether I’m identifying the artist or simply recognizing a familiar style of diva glamour. Fashion-wise? Stunning. Conceptually? I wanted just a little more specificity. ONYX’S VERDICT: Sexy, sleek, glamorous, and unmistakably diva. But the artist identification could have been sharper. Score: 8.8/10 ⸻ 🍷 5. CARAMELANIE — Mel ONYX’S GUESS: AMY WINEHOUSE BACK TO BLACK, BABY! Caramelanie, I don’t even need you to open your mouth. That beehive told me everything I needed to know. The towering hair, exaggerated winged eyeliner, tattoos, cigarette, and vintage-inspired styling? This is Amy Winehouse through and through. But what I LOVE is how you’ve elevated the inspiration. Instead of recreating one of Amy’s familiar little dresses, you’ve transformed her rebellious retro aesthetic into a dramatic red-and-black drag gown. The cascading ruffles create movement, while the fitted corset keeps the silhouette feminine and structured. This feels like Amy Winehouse if she’d decided to headline a couture cabaret in hell. My one critique? Some of the dress detailing gets visually busy, and a cleaner edit might have made the silhouette even stronger. But the character? The attitude? The recognition? NAILED IT. ONYX’S VERDICT: A recognizable music legend with a genuine drag reinterpretation. One of the clearest examples of understanding the assignment. Score: 9.5/10 ⸻ 🐎 6. DIMILUX — Dimitra ONYX’S GUESS: BEYONCÉ — COWBOY CARTER WELL, YEEHAW, YOU EXPENSIVE BITCH! DIMILUX! You didn’t walk onto this runway. You arrived with an entire damn HORSE! And before anybody starts complaining about props, let me make something perfectly clear: I LOVE THAT HORSE. The silver mirrored detailing, the pearl fringe, the sculpted western silhouette, the extravagant cowgirl hat, and that gorgeous horse with its pink mane? This is a fully realized visual production. And yes, baby, I know Cowboy Carter when I see it. What makes this especially delicious is that I have explored my own Cowboy Carter fantasy before, so I know how much room there is to take Beyoncé’s western aesthetic and turn it into high drag. The mirrored embellishments are particularly effective because they catch the light and create the kind of spectacle a major concert performance demands. And the horse isn’t distracting from the concept. It COMPLETES the concept. Could the look stand without the horse? Absolutely. But why would I want it to? ONYX’S VERDICT: An extravagant, cohesive, unmistakably Beyoncé-inspired runway production. Fashion, fantasy, and full commitment. Score: 9.8/10 ⸻ 🎀 7. MERLLY MONSEHÁ — Maris ONYX’S GUESS: MELANIE MARTINEZ Merlly, darling, WHAT IN THE HAUNTED DOLLHOUSE IS GOING ON HERE? You’ve arrived looking like Marie Antoinette got trapped inside a cursed toy store, and I am strangely fascinated. The enormous architectural skirt, the miniature dollhouse elements, the teddy bears, the ribbons, and that contrasting pink-and-black styling create a completely realized fantasy. And here’s where my musical detective work gets interesting. I’m going to guess Melanie Martinez. Now, I am not going to pretend I’m the president of the Melanie Martinez fan club. This isn’t an artist whose entire visual history I know by heart. But I recognize enough of that eerie, childlike, doll-inspired aesthetic to suspect that’s where you’re going. And if I’m right, you’ve taken the concept somewhere wonderfully theatrical. However, that uncertainty matters. A spectacular runway look does not automatically equal a recognizable music legend. The styling is imaginative, but without the theme, I might have thought this was a fantasy couture challenge. ONYX’S VERDICT: Extraordinary visual storytelling and impressive construction. But the musical connection is more difficult to decode. Score: 8.9/10 ⸻ 👑 8. KORTREE YORK — Kimmie ONYX’S GUESS: BEYONCÉ — BLACK IS KING OH, SO WE’RE NOT JUST PERFORMING MUSIC. WE’RE RUNNING THE ENTIRE KINGDOM? Kortree, you look like you descended from the heavens to collect taxes from the other queens. The sculptural gold and bronze detailing, the dramatic headdress, the powerful silhouette, and that enormous radiating cape are giving African royalty through a high-fashion, Afrofuturist lens. My immediate thought is Beyoncé’s Black Is King era. And if that’s the inspiration, I understand the direction. Beyoncé has delivered some of the most memorable regal imagery in contemporary music, and your look absolutely captures that sense of power. But here’s my reservation. Unlike Cowboy Carter, which has very recognizable western visual signatures, this look could also be interpreted as a general royal or Afrofuturist fantasy. I see the fashion. I see the craftsmanship. I see the authority. What I don’t see quite as clearly is the specific musical identity. ONYX’S VERDICT: A commanding, beautifully executed runway statement. The fashion is stronger than the immediate artist recognition. Score: 9.1/10 ⸻ 🔥 9. ALPHA KILLER — akaliuchis ONYX’S GUESS: P!NK ALPHA, BABY, WHO PISSED YOU OFF? Because you look ready to smash a guitar, fight a record executive, and headline a sold-out arena before lunchtime! The platinum spiked hair, rebellious makeup, red corset, oversized leather trousers, chains, and enormous multicolored fur-trimmed coat are giving early-2000s pop-rock rebellion. My guess is P!nk. And honestly, the attitude sells it. I appreciate how you’ve balanced a rebellious aesthetic with fashion-forward styling. The oversized proportions give the look an editorial quality rather than making it feel like a generic rock costume. However, I do think this is one of those looks where the styling could represent several rebellious pop or rock performers. A more specific visual reference would have made the identity unmistakable. And while the outfit is stylish, I wanted one truly outrageous element to elevate it into the same conceptual territory as our most ambitious queens. ONYX’S VERDICT: Cool, rebellious, polished, and full of attitude. A strong fashion look with room for a more distinctive musical reference. Score: 8.6/10 ⸻ 🦊 10. AERYN NOIR — Lyanka ONYX’S GUESS: I DON’T KNOW. AERYN. BABY. COME HERE. I asked for a MUSIC LEGEND, and you’ve brought me a Pokémon evolution with a recording contract! Now, before you throw one of those flaming tails at me, let me explain. This look is visually fascinating. The crimson-and-black armor, sharp sculptural shoulders, enormous fox tails, and supernatural presentation create an incredible fantasy character. You look like the final boss of a video game that I am absolutely not qualified to play. And the craftsmanship? Gorgeous. But who is the singer? WHO? Because I’ve looked at the ears. I’ve looked at the tails. I’ve looked at the costume. I’ve mentally searched every concert I’ve ever attended, and I am still standing here without an answer. I could throw out a guess from some fantasy-pop universe, but that would be me trying to solve a mystery with information the outfit hasn’t clearly communicated. And that is the problem. This challenge is not simply about creating an impressive look. It’s about translating a famous music artist into your drag aesthetic. ONYX’S VERDICT: Strong fantasy fashion, beautiful execution, and imaginative styling. But the music legend is completely lost on me. Score: 7.5/10 ⸻ 🎩 11. LEQUNT — LeQuishaQ ONYX’S GUESS: BOY GEORGE CULTURE CLUB HAS ENTERED THE CHAT! LEQUNT, YOU FABULOUS, HAT-WEARING MENACE! The moment I saw that enormous tilted hat, colorful braided hair, dramatic styling, and flamboyant New Romantic attitude, I knew exactly where you were going. BOY GEORGE! And what makes this work is that you haven’t simply recreated a recognizable outfit. You’ve exaggerated the theatricality of Boy George’s fashion into a fully developed drag spectacle. The ornate jacket, exaggerated ruffles, fitted waist, dramatic skirt, and towering boots all contribute to a silhouette that feels both historically inspired and unapologetically LeQunt. And that hat? BABY, THAT HAT HAS ITS OWN POSTAL CODE! You look like Boy George robbed a pirate ship, spent the treasure at Versace, and then stopped by a royal coronation because somebody told you there would be cameras. It’s outrageous. It’s theatrical. It’s identifiable. And most importantly, it feels like YOU. ONYX’S VERDICT: A brilliantly recognizable interpretation with personality, theatricality, and a strong drag identity. Score: 9.6/10 ⸻ 👁️ ONYX’S FINAL VERDICT Well, well, WELL! Eleven queens stepped onto this runway, and I have officially submitted my guesses. Some gave me immediate recognition. Orgasmique, Caramelanie, Dimilux, and LeQunt, you made my job remarkably easy. Others delivered impressive fashion while making me work a little harder to identify their musical inspiration. And then there’s Aeryn. Baby, I am STILL waiting for somebody to tell me who that fox is supposed to be! But here’s what I want every queen to understand: A beautiful outfit is not automatically a successful challenge entry. When the assignment is MUSIC LEGENDS, the legend has to come through. Your interpretation should elevate the artist’s image without erasing the clues that make that artist recognizable. And don’t get too comfortable with these scores, ladies. These are my runway assessments based on the identities I THINK you’ve portrayed. Once the real artists are revealed, some of these evaluations might need a second look! Because if I guessed wrong, I need to know whether that’s MY musical ignorance or YOUR styling problem. And trust me, baby, I am more than happy to investigate both. Until next time, remember: The runway may lie, the queens may try, but THE HAUS HAS EYES! 👁️💋 — ONYX ROYALE #DragHausS2| Episode 6: Guess That Music Legend!
