Hello Dollies, today the girlies went to a musical festival and got wild. Too turnt if you will. This week is one to remember, there were so many showstopping photos that it was hard to narrow it down to my favorites. This is what being an all-star is all about!!! Let's get into the critiques. #dntm5 dimitra AngieKStan Critique: This is so you, I love it. It has that spunkiness that you always radiate and I love that your girl has a vibe and that you went with a punk rock aesthetic. Edginess will always take the shot from average/pedestrian to really fashion forward and first callout worthy. The outfit is fabulous, I love the hands on her head as if she is high as fuck and kinda hallucinating, but also maybe even slightly overwhelmed by how noisy the environment is. You can tell she's just in a euphoric state and I love how the blurriness of the background is a first person point of view that adds to the trippiness of the experience. She's completely dead in the face, but here the out-of-it expression with the mouth opens works really really well. This shot is killer!! 9.6/10 kaliminaj Critique: It's a really cute shot, she reminds me of an influencer who gave her phone to a friend to film her experience for her and this is a candid of her trying to grab her phone back, cunt-ly of course. I love how she's half in it and half out of it. She's trying to cut the cameras dead ass, but still trying to pose and look hot while she does it. The hand above her breasts is perfectly placed, the outfit and the hair look really phenomenal together. The angle is really interesting and I love that the lens is somewhat distorted and cut off at the edges. I guess the only thing I can say is compared to Angie's, this perhaps lacks a little bit of detail andI wish the environment itself was more in-tune with HER vibe and her experience. Regardless, this is a huge step up for you!! 9/10 medusaluh Critique: IM CLAPPING SO LOUD BECAUSE FINALLY I CAN SAY I LOVE A PHOTO OF YOURS. I feel like finally you managed to interpret your unique perspective in a really fascinating, flattering way and IM SO HAPPY YOU CHOSE TO DO A CLOSE UP TOO FOR ONCE. This girl just screams center of attention and she looks so latin dance-inspired and fierce in her pink top/skirt. Love that it looks like it's an under-developed polaroid picture and that there's a lot of mysteriousness surrounding where she is and what the men/women around her are doing. Her body looks unreal, she radiates confidence and sexiness. The hands about her head flows beautifully with the ruching in the garment and you definitely captured a moment of euphoria. This is awesome!! 10/10 manyomash Critique: This is probably my least favorite photo you've put out so far, but it's not to say it's bad necessarily. The competition is just so stiff this week, so I really have to nitpick and compare quality. I love the hippie vibe she is going for, it's so fitting for a music festival. Even the environment just fits the vibe and it's a completely mapped out vision. I just think she looks a little low energy and unexpressive, which isn't unusual for hippies, but just isn't really translating in this photo. I wish I saw the same vibrancy here that I saw from the other girls. It's still a cool image though, the leg is my favorite part. It is crazyyy long and the star of the show. I just kinda wish she ditched the sunglasses, and I wish she had a longer neck, and I wish it looked like she was having more fun. 8/10 maris Critique: OKAYYYYYY MARIS. This is probably one of my favorites of the night, not gonna lie. I love that she is surrounded by 99% beefcake men and that you incorporating that blurry, overwhelming effect that you'd usually get if you were on drugs at a concert. The face here is really piercing, I love that she looks like the best dressed in the entire crowd and it almost gives PERFORMER, as opposed to attendee. I don't think that necessarily hurts you at all, she really looks like a member of a Kpop group. Love that the camera captured her mid-strut too, it makes the shot much more dynamic and interactive. This is great I think! 9.5/10 seong Critique: I'm obsessed with this, this guy has so much swagger and is so snatched. The angle is really unordinary and creative, as usual, and I love that it's splash-park themed. I love the chain around his neck that some random high person probably gave him and he just put it on to go with the flow and knows he can rock whatever. The mug is mugging too, he has this really polished look but is still stylistically rough around the edges which gives him a lot more personality. I think my only negative would be I wish you ditched the purple eyeliner. I just don't think it was really necessary or fitting give the vibe he's going for. Otherwise, SLAYYYYYY. 9.4/10 honey Critique: LOL ET PHONE HOME? I almost feel like this image has religious undertones, like she is some goddess granting her worshippers some magic powers or healing them in some way. It's very "these people all look up to me, I'm their supreme." I love how the hands are caressing the lower half of her body and how she's lunging forward towards the rest of the crowd. The garment is really ethereal and just adds to this alpha energy she's naturally exuding. I just think that the fingers touching is a little unnecessary....I don't get why there's a string between their fingers and I don't get why the other person's hand isn't just reaching out for her instead. I think there's supernatural undertones which are cool, but it almost looks like AI messed up there a bit. Overall, stunning photo still! 8.9/10 goomybear Critique: I love this photo, it's really dynamic and I think he is styled beautifully. The positioning of the arms and hands is really care-free and I love how much trust he is putting in the crowd to catch him. A shot like this could realistically be hard to capture because of nerves, but he looks really sure of himself and locked in. I think sometimes you struggle with making your model look pretty in the face, but here he really looks so handsome and stunning and flawless! It completely reminds me of the Billie Eilish Hit Me Hard Or Soft album cover, except on land instead of underwater. I think the environment itself could have been pushed a little further too. Like it's just a really basic festival with not much detail or a vibe compared to some of the other models e.g splash park, hippie, rock concert. Also some of the crowds faces look a little sloppy AI-wise. I really love this overall still! 9/10 lewis Critique: I actually really love this shot! It's really simplistic, but beautifully captured and has an artistic quality. The sweatiness, the deadpan expression, the filming and performing going on around him as he's just completely out of it. I think it's radiating intensity and the play on light is really working in the shot's favor. He's glowing and it's almost like the beacon of light in the background is shining in directly on him and creating the perfect photo-capturing moment. I have nothing bad to say about this photo! 9.3/10 guiltyassin Critique: I gotta say, this is probably one of the weaker images of the night :( I just think the photo lacks enthusiasm, it lacks vibrancy, and it lacks emotion. I'm not sure if this was intentional, but the image itself just comes across a little dull I love the way her hands is placed above her head, perfectly blocking the sun, and I think it was smart to make it so her man is piggybacking her. She's obviously such a princess. I do think she looks really fierce and the outfit is a toot, but compared to everyone else where there's elements of hallucination, props, fun poses, fun vibes, this one just feels a little uninspired. Still not a bad shot though! 8/10 marquis Critique: at first glance, I wasn't really getting festival, but I do see the vision. It's very grungy and underground, like I could totally see this crowd being for Charli XCX. The outfit is really intricately made and I love that you took the femme-boy approach here and are adding a pop of color in a sea of gothic angsty teens. I think of everyone, this one really strikes me as one of the more modelesque shots and I think it's just absolutely striking. As a model shot, there's no notes. In terms of vibe, it's not bad but it's not one of the strongest. I still think when you compare it to how some of your sisters approached the scenery/style/use of props/use of angle/use of effects, perhaps it's not as strong as some. Still stunning of course! 9/10 cupidstunt Critique: It's a really fabulous photo, I love the outfit and the hue so much. It's certainly vibrant and she's undoubtedly the center of attention. The leg kicked up in the air is really sexy, and she reminds me of a butterfly personified. It is very Woodstock and classic music festival vibes. I think maybe you could have pushed the envelope a little further here, it's not UNFORGETTABLE. But it is certainly hard to forget. 9/10 Call Out Order: 1. Medusaluh 2. AngieKStan 3. Maris 4. I had trouble with this last photoshoot because I was working a few different concepts to see what I wanted, and then my business Chat GPT account ran out of images suddenly. (Found out I was using a lot but then a business partner was making actual work things with it :S oops) SO then I had to pick a photo from the ones I had already been working on and I felt like none were fully developed.
