Community Discussion on Rules
Hi,
We’re currently reviewing and updating the site rules (as outlined on Mod_Clarke and Mod_Raven's profiles), and we’d really value community input on what should and shouldn’t be allowed on Kovaze. Our goal is to keep the platform enjoyable for current users while also ensuring it remains welcoming to new ones.
We’re open to feedback across all areas, including Designs, Games, Blogs, Discord, and policies around banned users.
You’re welcome to share your thoughts and respond to others’ suggestions. Please ensure all discussion remains respectful and constructive.
Thank you,
Moderation

I think there needs to be a way to practice the comps. Whether that's a longer game or practice links or literally whatever idea. It's impossible to practice when majority of arenas seem to be weakest link to be as fast as possible & you can't join a race without a raging partner.
Also please allow more than 1 Royale to fill if 100 people are waiting, or change raffle algorithm. Because seeing the same person in 5 games straight and continuously not getting in is kinda frustrating.
I just think it’s time for a long “pop ups” kind game . Chill vibes and can relax and meet new people , chat etc … As the community grow 🫶🏼 it will be a perfect thing for them to know us and walk in the site in first steps and us to meet them in more chill vibes games … I have post a game like this in my blogs . And I’m soooo down and open to discuss about it . I love all the games but unfortunately I’m not so good at comps 🥲 . That game I had suggest include comp too but isn’t base on that . Ofc I completely understand isn’t easy to make a new game and need a lot of work . But I think a game type like this is something a lot people ask all these months and it will be great addition for new users and for us who don’t like fast , comps games 🙂
allow homophobic slurs
People in the community who actively game, have shops, or take part in events etc should stay out of the mod panel in my opinion. I think anyone in that situation would have a really hard time not being biased since they will already have opinions on everyone on the site. It just creates more division and certain people feel like they can do whatever they want while others are walking on eggshells knowing someone who hates them is a mod.
Unban Luna, Nenalala , pizza dont speak to me until thats done
SummerMariah you know two of them are pedos right
Please put design permissions back to 3. In gifting shops you can’t even post 1 so I literally bought several expensive designs that I can’t post 😭. Buying so many permissions each shop after spending 5k on the shop isn’t feasible.
cswaggerr agree! i didnt knew that before i opened my shop and had to buy some koinz or my shop wouldve been useless
Unblock nenalala
Can Nenalala be unban? I think is enough time for a mistake -.-
Okay I’m gonna be serious. Here are some decisions that I think went too far. - What radicalized me was Kodua getting banned for saying “I put a curse of infertility on your family.” Like. A curse. Of infertility. Are we serious. - SummerMariah received a week ban for going inactive in race because of her low honor. A WEEK BAN. For joining a game and forgetting about it. - The “toxicity warning” mails that would only go to one person & not both parties. But your new approach is perfect because it doesn’t sound biased. - I was banned for what I wrote IN A MAIL TO A MODERATOR. I did not use threatening language or slurs. I would hope that your messages are a safe place to not get banned so long as I’m not saying anything out of line. The most confusing things about moderation as a user to me were: - Is there an appeal process? I only just recently found out it was through Sin but he could get like 500 mails a day. When I disagreed with decisions the best I could get from a mod was “I disagreed but I got out-voted” and the worst was “you should be grateful you haven’t already been banned.” -Establish the criteria for what constitutes a perm ban AND if that truly means permanent. My personal opinion is that if they’re likely to act out again the ban stays permanent. If after a 4-6 month period the person is unlikely to harm people again AND demonstrates they’ve learned their lesson then why not let them back. I’m talking about nenalala specifically here. She was annoying but she’s probably not gonna come back to post porn in a race again. This is grey area stuff so more definition in that would be great. -Honor is an objective way to categorize a subjective issue and I don’t think it’s working well. Users can just have a “file” and reports can be reviewed and bans can be issued based on the action, not your score. One time a mod said “we don’t ban you the system does” and I said that’s like a cop saying we don’t shoot people the guns do. I would do away with it and notify users who are either on thin ice or in danger of larger punishments. -What is the race partner penalty because that was never issued consistently. I am your biggest fan Moderation and I thank you very much for what you are doing. I don’t think the old moderators would have made a blog like this bc of egos and thinking they were all the most qualified to handle every issue. This is very nice of you thank you again
Hey AMANDA, thanks for your response. I can't comment on the actions of past moderators as none of them are on the current panel, but I can try and offer some insight on some of the other points you noted. - The best way to appeal a penalty is by raising a moderation ticket on the Discord Server, or privately messaging this account. All appeals will be handled by Kovaze. Banned users can send an e-mail to kovaze.officialgmail.com. - A permanent ban currently means the user is not allowed to return unless the ban is successfully appealed by an Administrator. - The honour system isn’t intended to replace moderation judgment, but to provide a consistent framework for it. Rather than relying on entirely subjective case-by-case decisions, it tracks patterns of behaviour over time and applies consequences at clearly defined thresholds. This ensures that repeated misconduct is addressed more seriously, while allowing leniency for isolated mistakes or one-off lapses in judgment. - Penalties for not saving in race have been halted for the time being. We welcome and encourage a discussion on this. Your feedback is greatly appreciated! Moderation
Moderation thank you so much for your thoughtful response!!
Either allow full avatars or not, do not allow some to post them and others not.
Hey Dynasty, thanks for your response. You're right, we will aim to be specific regarding the rules around designs.
I LOVE THIS AVI
I don't really have a response to this blog at the moment, but I would be up for any discussions or bouncing of ideas. I know personally I am on the fence of the outside moderation on discord/social media... as that is very hard to control and moderate unless it happens on this website or the official kovaze server.
Hey brookie, thanks for your response! At this time, we don’t moderate activity that takes place outside of the website or the official Discord server. As a community primarily made up of adults, we encourage users to be mindful of the spaces they choose to engage in and to make use of features such as blocking on external platforms where needed. The only exception would be in situations where Kovaze determines that off-platform behaviour poses a genuine safety concern within the community. These cases are rare and are handled at the discretion of Administration. We appreciate your input, feel free to share any further thoughts on this or other topics!

Allow nenalala to come back since what he did was not on purpose and the ones pushing against his unbanning were the old mod team.
aronice This makes no sense. Why do you think it's okay for someone to post pornography on a website with minors??? Just say you're friends with nena and move on.
NotNicky333 i repeat, it was an accident. yes he is my friend, and? regardless of that, my opinion is that a permanent ban is not an appropiate punishment for that. moving on btw.
aronice Sorry, but how do you accidentally copy & paste a porn link and hit send in a chat? Genuinely curious as to how that can be an accident.
Connor ? Maybe you mistakenly think you have copied something else after that thing and you copy+paste fast
aronice Moving on because you want children exposed to pornography is very weird.
NotNicky333 YOU are the weird one for saying that fucking shit lol. I NEVER SAID THAT, you're weird and dumb
NotNicky333 also I moved on cause u suggested it <3 bitch
Whatever is the absolute strictest option, that one. Because these are grown adults breaking these rules!
i think permed users SHOULD have to make a new account to come back and shouldnt be allowed on their original accounts after 2 months or whatever it is (idk if this is a thing for every perm or what), but it kinda invalidates the point of it being a perm in the first place i also think you should have a blog with all the bans in it too (idk if you can copy and paste it from the discord server), rather than having to join the discord server to see them, as not everyone wants to be in the server and idt they should be obliged to join it just to see who is banned for what personally (cause say Pizza for example who has made multiple accounts who is banned for being inappropriate with minors, how are new users meant to know if they dont have discord to see that and dont know to look out for him type thing???) i think for sure you should have a blog or somewhere with known problematic users who have been banned for serious things just so people know to look out for them
Hey Doom, thanks for sharing your input! As it stands, permanently banned users are not permitted to return to the website, whether on their original account or a new one. If a user submits an appeal through Kovaze and it is accepted, their original account is reinstated. Administration actively monitors for permanently banned users who attempt to return, and continues to improve the tools used to detect and remove these accounts. Your suggestion of maintaining a list is noted, this could be useful for those interested in helping protect the community. If implemented, it would likely be kept on Discord rather than the blogs page, as permanently banned users are no longer associated with our website. We appreciate your input, feel free to share any further thoughts!
I think benopolis and angiekstan would be excellent moderators
That old mods stop acting pretentious
