Republicans, MAGA, and the State of Conservatism

If you still support Trump, you must genuinely have worms for brains or you are just straight up evil. I kinda understood it in 2016. People were fed up with the establishment and status quo, but once Trump got into office, he just turned the republican establishment into a Trump establishment. These guys are so fucking corrupt. He's dog whistled racism countless times. The way he speaks to people that won't give him blind praise is disgusting. and most of all: The Epstein cover up is probably the most egregious thing I've seen in politics in my life. The rage that fills my veins watching Pam Bondi show up to a hearing with a burn book to insult representatives and documents that tracked which un-redacted files they looked at is INSANE. Yes, they are TRACKING what files congresspeople look at. MAGA people elected Trump to drain the swamp only to find out the swamp water is what has been turning him orange. It's all just so depressing and bleak. In our parent's day, this would've been handled so quickly with an impeachment. It's clear there has been a huge affect on the American people and how we treat one another post 2016. Reminder, Trump began his current political career thru gaining followers by saying Obama was not born in America. It's been conspiracies from the start. Dog whistles. What's even more depressing is how many people are genuinely swept up in this movement like Gagaluv . There's a really good YouTube video about Nicki Minaj and her swing to MAGA by that Swiftologist youtuber. He discusses what in the MAGA culture draws these people in. It's the grievance culture. They are obsessed with retribution and outrage. I'm the best, everybody else is wrong, it's actually a dark conspiracy that everyone is wrong. It's honestly hard for me to even write a coherent political take because there's so much other vile stuff I want to touch on but yeah. I genuinely do think it's a huge red flag is you are still supporting Trump. It displays a MAJOR lack of empathy or critical thinking skills. I've cut most Trump people out of my life at this point and the best part? I don't miss them! It's actually ironic because you'll realize how badly republicans want to be friends with liberal people. We're the fun people. We make culture, art, and actually treat our loved ones like they are loved. I used to have sympathy for Trump voters and felt bad they were tricked so bad into believing a corrupt, billionaire was going to drain the swamp and fix the economy, but now I'm like oh you're just like evil. And if you don't live in America but still have a somewhat positive view of Trump because his actions don't directly affect you or you just think he's funny, FUCK YOU!
