I think this whole situation
Just brought up a lot of really dark memories for me. As a teenager, growing up on these sites, I endured a lot of really awful and gross experiences and I just don’t want others to have to experience that as well :/
So when I saw the collage as an option, it just triggered something in me and reminded me of those dark times. Which obviously made me defensive. I wasn’t trying to accuse anyone on the council of anything. I apologize if this has offended anyone, that was literally the last thing I was expecting to happen if I spoke up.

Keep your head up wes , you did nothing wrong it just got heated because its an emotionally charged thing for alot of us . And it brought out good look how many people opened up about their prior experiences and trauma . You created a conversation that turned into a way for people to feel safe to share their stories . 🫶
It's awful what those people did, truly. I'm sorry that happened to you. I think your intention was good, even if we disagree on the results. No one should ever have to deal with those things and I'm glad we have a mod team and site owner here to work to protect the safety of all users in a way we never had

I mean youre okay you very clearly had good intentions. I'm sorry if I made it harder for you. I have been through the same shit I just try to look at things through a wide lens of how we can be most agreeable to still get the outcome we want.
