“Why do people get crazier over Frenzy than Arena” and I think the answer is that with Arena, you’re number out of however many nomming. If 7 people nom me well that sucks, but all else being equal there’s not really any one individual for me to focus my annoyance on. With Frenzy on the other hand, the HoH selecting you specifically over everyone else to put up (or the veto holder not vetoing you, whatever) feels a lot more like that single person said “I want you out”. Add that to the fact that elimination itself is also decided by a vote and not an impersonal competition so 2x the opportunity per round to get snaked.
