Kovaze - A Brief Review

the good: Arena elims being based on comps and having those same comps determine the next day's POV is such a smart idea, a good balance, and there's a 2 for 1 meaning that the comps are important for everyone. Arena on its own is just such a fun game, I never got to play the duel, so I assume this is basically the closest I'm gonna get to playing that. Ranked choice Jury Votes fixes the issue with voting for frookies and allows for the game to end right away and people to vote right after they get out. showing 1st place at the left and last place on the right after the game ends New comps are great, I love code breaker as a comp!! Holey is so good, but it took me a while to learn how to do it. The comp where you have to drop the ball is good because choosing where to drop it has some strategy but there is a ton of luck which prevents the same people from always winning and giving anyone a chance to do well (like Deal) Skill based comps still exist, but there is more of a balance now. Deal works so well because you can still choose to play safe or risk it all for a high score, there is still strategy. Relics is fun and an interesting concept. Having the avatars be full body versions of tengaged avatars is a really cool idea I love the design of halloween logo at the top left corner There's actual active moderators. I know that all websites are *supposed* to have that, but I grew up on tengaged, which was AWFUL in that regard... Allowing us to share a song on our profiles is cool All games besides celebrities are free!! No weird health system. the bad: Would be nice to be able to practice the new comps! And be able to see everyone's scores. Why are there no comps in frenzy? Random HOH's and POV's are trash. messages are way too big, meaning you have to scroll and go through many pages to see what you want too, it's annoying, and tengaged didn't have this problem, no tab for PM's either the comps from tengaged are mostly garbage, many just seem like worst versions of tengaged comps, the UI for deal is so bad, with maze it's unclear whether the goal is to get through as many levels as possible or to collect the gold coins. AI Images in games page, really? Messages sometimes send duplicates in games Neutral: 3 noms in celebrties is interesting in theory, constantly keeping everyone on their toes, and making the game more unpredictable, but if someone is hated it increases the likelihood of them going up, and it just ensures they have no chance of surviving when they do. Why are the flames only viewable in the blogs page and in games? Not on profile pages? Getting to your profile is in a weird place, why not give it its own button on the top right? I don't get the room thing, is that for backgrounds? Where on the website can you see your room and other people's rooms? Haven't played the survivor game yet, I'll update this once I have. getting designs seems to be the same process as tengaged, a lot of people like it, but I personally like zwooper's better, people go CRAZY with shops and designs, and it's nice to have just one set price. Introducing custom flames is cool, but why does it replace the level system if you choose to use them?! Idk how balanced getting coins and points is yet Would be nice to have features like making text bold in blogs, tengaged didn't have that, but I think this website is at its best when it impliments things that tengaged never had I wish there was a section for most points in the last 7 or 30 days in the HOF like tengaged had Final Thoughts: Overall? Lots of potential. But there's a lot that can be improved upon. I'm hopeful. A good start, but please keep improving the website, new features, comps, games, more flames for higher point totals, better user expirence I'll update this over time
