If you have an extremely thick accent

Please do not become a professor. One reason I failed math in university is because my prof had the thickest Japanese accent I’ve ever heard, in math!!!

King there are definitely some workarounds here! There are a lot of audio recording transcription services that could help transcribe if you’re struggling to understand Also usually you know the source material, so you can also do some supplemental research or utilize the TA’s for additional assistance. There are thousands of YouTube videos for almost every subject if there’s something you’re not understanding as well And let’s face it, for ANY class if you’re solely relying on the professors lessons as your sole source of learning, regardless of their nationality or dialect, you will fail. Supplemental research, studying, and using TAs is always needed beyond lectures Happy to help you with some strategies in a future semester but let’s not fully blame a person who’s just trying to do their best in their career if no personal steps were taken Hugs
