DNTM 7 - WEEK 1 CONFESSIONAL

Hi yall! I will post my thoughts for every round (if I have the time LMAO). AT THE START OF THE COMPETITION "So far, I've gotten to talk to a few people, and they've all been lovely to talk to! There are still so many people I haven't had the chance to approach yet. I'm a bit shy, so I don't usually make the first move haha. Hopefully, I'll get the chance to talk to everyone eventually and build some friendships along the way. But if not, it is what it is.." PHOTOSHOOT "When I first saw the theme, I was excited because it sounded like something I could probably do well in.. My thought process behind this photo was to make sure my pose embodied what was instructed to us: BOLD, POWERFUL, and INTENSE." "I tried my best to incorporate poses that would complement the flowing red cape + the bullfighting energy without losing the fashion. I think it's important that the pose and the movement of the fabric work together to create a cohesive shot, but not doing too much. I also wanted my facial expression to convey intensity and match the overall theme." "In the end, I'm really happy with what I achieved. The final output is exactly what I was going for!" "A special shoutout to my friends outside DNTM for sharing their advice and helping me along the way." THOUGHTS ABOUT OTHER SHOTS "I'm so impressed by the shots everyone delivered, especially considering it's only Week 1. At the same time, it makes me a little nervous because I know I'll have to work even harder if I want to go far in this competition." "I do think Lyanka is going to get FCO imo. Her pose and concept are just so good! She's definitely going to be tough competition." "I also see Zee_, lluckygc, and Oren as some of my biggest competition based on their Week 1 shots. But honestly, anyone can step up and do well in the coming weeks, so I'm definitely keeping an eye on every model here.." MAKEOVER "When I saw my makeover, I was really happy with it! My previous hairstyle gave me a more youthful look, but this new one makes me feel edgier. It also complements my facial features and gives me a much stronger overall look. LOVE IT!!!" BEFORE THE JUDGING ROUND "I hope I did well enough.. Of course, I want to get FCO and the advantage, but at the very least, I hope my score is high enough to serve as a safety net in case anything goes wrong in the future."
