Putting my business hat on
Because I want Year 2 of Kovaze to be next level.
I used to run an improv club, and one thing we used to do was host different events on certain days of the week. Monologue Mondays, Theatre Thursdays, etc. I know a lot of sports clubs and businesses in general do this as well.
I've been entertaining the idea of establishing something similar on Kovaze. Like having a dedicated day for Gameshows, a day for Race, Hockey, etc. You'd still be able to play other games, of course, but the attention would be focused on that particular activity for the day.
I'm also thinking about having occasional ticketed events so that we have a budget to cover production costs, hand out cash prizes (I'll have to check the legalities around cash prizes), and put on professional-level events. These events would be especially polished and memorable. Paying hosts is a big one for the site. A small business can only grow so much with one person running it alongside a few volunteers, and I know a lot of people have expressed interest in something like this.
Overall, I want to start viewing the site more like a recreational club, and I think this shift in mindset could be a game changer for us. And there's no reason we can't do it! We have 500+ people logging in every day, more than a lot of sports clubs get in an entire week.

IMPROV CLUB!?!? THIS EXPLAINS EVERYTHING! I like the focus on something for a designated day. Keeps if consistent and people can prepare instead of wonderi g if someone is gonna host something for funzies and that funzies it is 1AM in the morning. What do you mean by ticketed events? Pay to play? Cash prizes is a bit tricky and could be messy. You would have to be tight as a bootyhole to make sure no fuck ups because if people cry about not getting fake money, wait till real one get involved. I would suggest hiring tez as a lawyer. He does the law or the law does him. I forget. Professionalism events, what does professionalism mean to you? Besides that, I agree make brookie whatever she wants because she will find a way. Going from reality show site to club based thing might be better cause most people are scared to do social strategy games no shade (am I using it right? I hate it but need to enhance my vocabulary). NicoRobin I'm not saying it'll be any less of a reality tv site! What I meant is it could be run more like an actual club. By ticketed events yes they would be a pay-to-play thing, and it would be an elaborate event with a host team, good prizes, a good budget, etc. these would be a lot bigger than your race and arena events.

Fa temps que dono voltes a la idea d'implementar alguna cosa similar a Kovaze. Per exemple, tenir un dia dedicat als Gameshows, un altre a Race, Hockey, etc. Evidentment, podríeu continuar jugant a altres jocs, però l'atenció d'aquell dia se centraria en l'activitat corresponent. També estic pensant a organitzar esdeveniments ocasionals amb entrada de pagament, perquè tinguem un pressupost per cobrir les despeses de producció, repartir premis en metàl·lic (hauré de consultar els aspectes legals relacionats amb aquests premis) i organitzar esdeveniments de nivell professional. Serien esdeveniments especialment ben preparats, cuidats fins a l'últim detall i memorables. Poder remunerar els presentadors és una de les grans prioritats per a la plataforma. Una petita empresa només pot créixer fins a cert punt quan la gestiona una sola persona amb l'ajuda d'uns quants voluntaris, i sé que molta gent ha mostrat interès en una cosa així. Llevo un tiempo dándole vueltas a la idea de implementar algo similar en Kovaze. Por ejemplo, tener un día dedicado a Gameshows, otro a Race, Hockey, etc. Por supuesto, podríais seguir jugando a otros juegos, pero la atención de ese día estaría centrada en la actividad correspondiente. También estoy pensando en organizar eventos ocasionales con entrada de pago, para que tengamos un presupuesto con el que cubrir los gastos de producción, repartir premios en metálico (tendré que consultar los aspectos legales relacionados con estos premios) y organizar eventos de nivel profesional. BR: Eu costumava administrar um clube de improvisação teatral, e uma das coisas que fazíamos era organizar eventos diferentes em dias específicos da semana. Segundas de Monólogos, Quintas de Teatro, etc. Sei que muitos clubes esportivos e empresas em geral também fazem isso. Tenho pensado na ideia de implementar algo parecido no Kovaze. Por exemplo, ter um dia dedicado a Gameshows, outro a Race, Hockey, etc. É claro que vocês ainda poderiam jogar outros jogos normalmente, mas o foco daquele dia seria a atividade escolhida. Também estou pensando em organizar eventos ocasionais com ingressos pagos, para que tenhamos um orçamento para cobrir os custos de produção, oferecer prêmios em dinheiro (ainda preciso verificar as questões legais relacionadas a isso) e realizar eventos de nível profissional. Esses eventos seriam especialmente bem produzidos e memoráveis. Remunerar os hosts é uma das grandes prioridades para o site. Uma pequena empresa só consegue crescer até certo ponto quando é administrada por uma única pessoa com a ajuda de alguns voluntários, e sei que muita gente já demonstrou interesse em algo assim. No geral, quero começar a enxergar o site mais como um clube recreativo, e acredito que essa mudança de mentalidade pode transformar completamente o Kovaze.
