story time!

characters (using fake names out of respect) girl who got the solo: jennifer girl who auditioned for the solo, will become relevant later: hannah girl who didn't even audition but was the first to confront me: wendy girl who told the choir director: georgia i am friends with everyone besides hannah, not sure where we stand so my high school's choir did this as a piece for our fall concert that happened on the 15th: https://youtu.be/iXLuyvqrNCA?si=-qe8rMQpz_HaOtDa in this song, there's a beautiful soprano solo which i wanted. jennifer, georgia, myself, and a few others auditioned for it because we wanted it. i wanted it as a bass for the shits and giggles and i was so excited and told all my friends. wendy was like "are you really trying out for the solo?" and i was like "yeah i want it". so everyone auditions and the choir director announces that jennifer got the solo. i got the backup and was really happy for jennifer. after class, i walked up to her and said: "better hope you don't get sick!" and "girl you better watch your back you might go flying down one of these staircases soon" like as a joke WHICH SHE LAUGHED AT. i'm guessing that wendy overheard me say that to jennifer, and she got upset. so wendy tells some of the sopranos what i said, including hannah and georgia. so wendy puts on her instagram note: "threatening people over a solo is INSANE". i reply and deny that i did this and we debated for a good 30 minutes. we ended our conversation with me saying i was going to apologize. the next day i walk into choir and the director walks out of the room with me and hears my side of the story. because of georgia's fuckass snitchery, jennifer ALSO goes and tells the teacher about the situation. jennifer was kinda pissed at georgia for dealing with her problems for her. the director wasn't mad, just told me to watch what i say from now on. a few days go by, nothing really seems to come up, and then hannah's boyfriend talks to me saying that some of hannah's friends were talking about me. apparently hannah's friends were dissing me and calling me a bad singer, etc. meanwhile IIII got the backup for the solo. hannah talks to jennifer, and afterwards jennifer talks to me today and says: "hannah said she's going to talk to you because she thinks you're spreading misinformation. she also thinks that you said that me and you were going to fight." so i say: "when did either of us ever say we were going to fight the other?" and jennifer says: "exactly." so i told jennifer to message hannah and tell her that it was hannah's boyfriend that told me, not her. now there's a rumor going around that jennifer and i were going to fight, and we are still good friends. more details to come! any questions?
