Settle this BB debate for me
Did I backdoor someone tonight? I say no, edgar says yes.
In Benopolis wonderful BB ORG I attempted to backdoor a queen by nominating 2 other people who weren’t my target. She PLAYED IN THE VETO competition and did not win. I nominated her and she got evicted tonight.
Can you get backdoored if you play in the veto comp

Yeah backdoor is mainly you don’t give the person who is evicted a chance to save themself with the POV by not playing in the comp. This is why we have randomize veto picks because in BB5 you were allowed to pick people (which was a change from last season when everyone got to play in POV) which gave Martin the idea (in which Nakomis initiated with thr 5 finger plan) to yeet Jace. They didnt want to give him chance of winning saftey so they made sure to not pick him. Now it can never happen cause of the Blockbuster because noms get at least one out of two chances to save themselves. By the time it is over everyone is usually eligible to play which is why I think the twist should end at jury not after the double eviction when they cant set the blockbuster up. So edgar is wrong and I will take no questions. Initially I thought you were talking about bedroom backdoor which we dont wanna hear about that nasty stuff…or maybe…no.
Theres many things that go into not being an initial nomine, if the intent is to backdoor someone even if they play in veto it can be a backdoor. By ur definition u can never truly backdoor someone bc u can never garantee them not playing, the only time that was possible was season 5

the plan of a backdoor is that they dont play in veto so they cant save themselves... but ig bb fandom has changed it to being the renom and going home.
