Is realizing that Japan is probably one of the most overhyped countries. Hell it may very well be the most overhyped. The country’s whole reputation rests solely on anime and video games
I mean their economy kinda sucks now and a lot of their tourism is driven by fans of Japanese culture but isn't that kinda the point of tourism anyway... you're interested in the culture lol there's a hundred million people there just living their lives
This is pretty racist and xenophobic tbh. As someone who’s been there a few times now there is immense culture and history in Japan that has nothing to do with video games or anime. It’s a beautiful country with so much to offer
