With these wait times to get into event matches, the other game modes have flopped; "Race," which used to have several matches a day, hasn't had a single one so far. I've been waiting for hours. It's the same story with the other modes.

I was thinking this earlier, it has seemed to do more harm than good. Not to mention its hard to get into any of the games. Rip Kovaze
The payouts are bad now.
It's like 2 hours until the next event... which means you can still play a round or 2 before the next event starts. Shouldn't be taking this long to fill these.
DWG7 It’s never taken this long to fill a lobby; we’ve had the room open for over five hours. There used to be plenty of Race games in the afternoon, but ever since the timed event matches started, the standard modes have lost momentum. Even the Arena—which used to have more than one lobby open at a time—is barely seeing any activity now.
