i mean no hatred when i ask this

but i’m really curious; if you don’t speak the language of this website ***at all***, AND you are universally disliked and mocked by about 99% of the people on here… what exactly do you gain out of spending like all your time and tons of money on here… i know i have like tons of privilege being a native speaker of the language that is used in a lot of online communities and is kind of a “default”/primary language for most fandoms/gaming communities etc but even then i don’t enjoy being in a group of ppl not speaking english cuz it makes me feel left out not knowing all their inside jokes and the nuances of their language that a translator just can’t give you. it makes me feel stupid and like i’m not apart of it 😭 so if you don’t speak any english and you’re on here and you’re liked… then i get it! it’s nice to be somewhere you’re liked. but if you are pretty much universally despised …. how the fuck is this enjoyable lol yes this is about one specific person but it’s also a genuine question and not like an attack.
