not abolishment. Data Centers can be cooled in eco-friendly ways, the corporations won't because it affects their profits. Generative AI doesn't have to steal from artists, they just won't change their training sets and guard rails. AI is the future and I understand it's very bleak right now but it's caused by capitalist greed. AI is great for medical progress. AI is being used to create antibiotics capable of killing superbugs like MRSA. It's creating Parkinson's treatments. It's already a great diagnostic tool. AI does not have to be the harbinger of doom. It can be amazing but we have to destroy capitalism first.
