Done with the frenzy shit. I won't continue to jeopardize potential friendships with people on this site for the sake of factionalism in a game that only offers like 145 coins and 60 points for first place. IF it was THAT serious, maybe I would. MAYBE there are BIGGER games to be played by BIGGER people. The whole algorithm thing is far too problematic as well. Most games of frenzy are pretty much just a race to evict inactives before algo grants them game-altering power. And that's if other players will even comply with evicting the inactives instead of just picking off the people who COULD care to be present. AT LEAST playing Arena, Race, Island, anything BUT Frenzy offers a rewarding experience that actually requires complex strategy due to the existence of mini games. I will always assert the idea that any self-proclaimed "master-strategist" in frenzy has a view of the game shrouded by pure algorithmic luck. STRATEGY is not "wait until you are given HOH and nominate the people you don't like." That's as good as flipping a coin and just choosing one out of like three people to boot. It's low-skill roulette. I'm not even that great at minis, I'm a newer player. But playing other games has actually offered me a chance to get better at the game and win games that just matter more. And that's why the lack of skill pools up in Frenzy games and just genuinely creates a hub of utter SHIT on the site. It's the ONLY thing some people can win because they simply don't have the desire to get better at things that have genuine competition. And because Frenzy is the only thing they play, it becomes treated with such intensity and seriousness that it harms relationships between those who play it. I feel like the ALGO format would only work with a survivor-style game, where you could make the argument that maybe who is safe in those games is perceivably random anyway. But that's not me advocating for something like that. THAT being said IT IS a WRECTHED hive of SCUM and VILLAINY. pls fill more ISLAND lobbies.
