What happened to the Kovaze elections?

I returned to Kovaze after nine months (I wasn't pregnant, just whoring around elsewhere) and the entire nation-state of Kovaze has fallen. I know the elections were real, for there are records of my old blog posts during the elections in January... yet the elections seem to be erased from Kovaze history. Does anyone else remember these uncanny times?
