to come out to my 3 conservative straight frat guy roommates who are prob homophobic? They've met my bf like plenty of times bc he's always over but really passes like me, but we've never hung out in my room and always had to do that stuff in my car, and his roommates are even more Southern Christian conservative so his roommates can't find out for his safety. And honestly I don't really care enough anymore, so idk if I tell them in person like serious convo on the couch style, or just like a drunk text one night or smth else.

aleksa they make homophobic jokes all the time but i also know they talk about other gay people as people ig but it's def hard to for sure tell
yawnha i am in the military with lots of conservative dudes so I know how they can be. I think they think those homophobic jokes are funny but they do also like have gay friends too and dont see a problem with it. Everyone is different for sure but I think if they're truly your friends they won't really care. The only thing is maybe having your bf over like some dudes might be like uncomfortable with that but idk.. I think you just tell them and emphasize that they're your friends and you wanna be able to like share your true self with them and stuff
