I will say
fashionista is so low-stakes that complaining about it (and I have) just makes it suck the fun out of something that is so harmless. I just think tryharding a fun contest with AI backgrounds / exclusive designs for each round / campaigning for votes makes it pointless for everyone to participate.

ya i had to disconnected a little after the first 2 rounds bc it was genuinely upsetting me LMAO. now i just make my look and forget about it.
brookie at least you try to make it fair with adding designs to the vending machine so everyone can participate. I don't get why people think you are a part of that problem when you are just allowing EVERYONE to be involved in it. smh
i just do it because its fun and i regularly get like 2 stars but i also agree the top 5 (especially this cycle) is always the most eye sore, bloated, populated looks. Like your look is so good that it actually just becomes bad if that makes sense

i really hate that there’s a group who has figured out a way to dominate by gatekeeping designs made specifically for the theme.
Sprite originally i had suggested that only designs uploaded prior to the announcement of the theme count be used, to avoid these "custom" designs... but i understand why it is the way it is to support the shops game and stuff...
