being a cat lover

is soooo hard, one of the outdoor stray cats we take care of showed up this morning drooling and gagging like she was having a medical emergency (not in a rabid way), but shes pretty feral and only lets you pet her sometimes.. so catching her didnt work as hard as it was attempted, and we set up a trap to get her into a carrier so we could get her to the vet, but how do you even convince a wild cat that it needs to go in for its own good. she ran off and hid after all of this and i just hope she comes back later and is ok :( i genuinely feel so helpless sigh
