Special Games
I've been thinking a lot about the structure of the games on this website. We have Fast Games, Slow Games, and then it jumps to Celebrities and ends there.
Recently I've been entertaining the idea of a new tier of games ABOVE slow games (I guess for now we're calling them special games). Celebrities in some sense is a special game.
The idea is that they would run once a month on a rotation:
January: Big Brother
February: Survivor
March: The Challenge
April: Kovaze's Drag Race (These are just examples!!!)
etc...
Celebrities could be weaved in once a month during the down-time of these games. For example, Jan would be 3 weeks of BB, 1 week of Celebrities. Feb would be 3 weeks of Survivor, 1 week of Celebrities. etc. Goal would be to have around three games of each type per year (asides from Celebrities).
I also like the idea of players being able to draft and/or bet on users in these special games.
Let me know what you think of this potential format for our website moving forward :)

Big fan of the idea of doing a slower monthly game, would probably be tough to cater to everyone as I feel like demand would be high and with games running monthly it may be tough to get in them. Complete side note, would love to see ELO come back, potentially find a way to combine Frenzy/Hysteria into one since it's so difficult to fill either.

JTee The essence of them being special games is that they're rare to get into. For on-demand games, that's what slow games will be for like Outcasted. Enrolment is one thing to think about for sure, whether it should be random, selected, a bid (like stars on tg). I had someone ask about Elo yesterday. When Elo was around the feedback was mostly negative because people would only join with friends or not join at all to maintain their elo. But the fill times of Frenzy and Hysteria are being looked into, and it's likely the two will be merged into a new game
Sin Understandable on Elo, would love to see it in race, feels like the perfect mode for it with random partners, it should keep it relatively balanced opposed to seeing premaded frenzy/hysteria. Either way on the monthly special games, I am for the idea and think it would be worth while trying out.
