Lost Island - Episode 1: Welcome to Isla Vespera!

DAY 1: A gentle breeze wafted across that beautiful, deserted beach. Birds took flight above the trees, singing a soothing melody. The wind stirred up only small waves. Everything suggested the day would unfold perfectly. But that was about to change. The first boat appeared on the horizon, heading toward the calm beach. The first "hurricane" was about to arrive. The boat reached the shore, and a stunning, seductive blonde with a voluptuous figure stepped off. Gabs had arrived at Isla Vespera. She disembarked and strutted as if the sand were a runway and the world her audience. She noticed she was alone, but it didn't take long to spot another boat in the distance. Jordan arrived on the island with a killer smile. He might have even stirred up some heat in Gabs if he didn't look so young. The two greeted each other with a kiss on the cheek and introduced themselves. They were nervous and a bit awkward about being alone on the island. They couldn't wait for more people to arrive. And, one by one, they did. Dawn was next. With her elegant air, she realized the moment she stepped off the boat that the place wasn't suited for high heels. She had to take them off—something that didn't please her at all. Jordan came to her rescue and offered his arm. Bubba followed. Upon seeing Gabs, she sensed they would have a history together—she didn't know if it would be good or bad, but that didn't stop her from greeting the other woman. Joneduardo arrived, showing he was right at home on the beach. His good looks didn't go unnoticed by the other participants. Bubba thought this could be a dangerous weapon, but also potentially useful to her. By the time Nettles arrived, everyone was already deep in conversation, making it difficult for him to draw attention to himself. He simply watched until Jordan asked about him, and then all eyes finally turned his way. Tex arrived on the island exuding confidence; his stride declared that no one in the world was sexier than he was. And the way some people looked at him made it seem like that was a major issue. By the time Char stepped onto the island, the other participants had already introduced themselves and chatted amongst themselves; naturally, he seized the opportunity to become the center of attention. His moment was overshadowed by Kimmie, who arrived and stole everyone's attention with her friendliness and charisma—though not everyone found that appealing. She, in turn, was overshadowed by Kallie’s arrival. Everyone was stunned when Kallie arrived on the island. How could someone be so thin? Was that even sustainable? She looked almost skeletal. And she loved those stares; she had never been noticed quite like that before. Rainolds was the next to disembark. His first thought was that there were a lot of beautiful people on the island. Dealing with them would be both interesting and challenging. Bigbryy arrived exuding glamour; her outfit, her hair, and the polish on her bare toenails all seemed to come together in a perfect look that seemed almost impossible for anyone else to achieve. Cyber ​​stepped ashore, the joy in his eyes unmistakable. He made a point of introducing himself to everyone, one by one, in a very cheerful and infectious manner—or perhaps not so infectious to some. Lewis was the last to arrive on the island. He looked at the thirteen people watching him walk across the beach toward them and resolved that he would beat them one by one and never let himself be bested. It was late afternoon by the time all the participants had arrived. Then, Doug Ribeiro came out to meet our players. “Welcome to Isla Vespera! This tropical paradise of an island will be your home for the next few weeks. Here, you will face challenges and drama unlike anything you’ve ever encountered before. I hope you’re all ready.” The participants celebrated the official start of the game. Several Jeeps arrived at the beach, and Doug announced that they would be taken to their accommodations. The participants took their seats in the Jeeps and set off along the beach toward the unknown. As they traveled, they couldn't help but admire the surrounding beauty—plants, wildlife, the sea, and even some ruins that were striking for their sheer size. At nightfall, the participants arrived at a stunning house—a mansion that would take anyone's breath away. It was modern yet blended perfectly with the island, featuring a beautiful infinity pool and a magnificent leisure area. And waiting for them was an extraordinary party. There was food, drinks, and a dance floor that made it impossible to stand still—a reception worthy of the movies. Kimmie was the first to rush to the dance floor and start dancing as if the world depended on it. Bubba couldn't help but roll his eyes—a reaction that came naturally to him. Joneduardo grabbed a drink for himself and took another to offer Gabs. *Joneduardo’s Confessional: “I can’t say I didn’t notice the way she looked at me when I arrived on the island. I’m not here looking for a relationship, but that doesn’t stop me from trying to use that to my advantage. I mean, I can’t deny that I’m attractive, and that works in my favor.” Gabs’s Confessional: “Joneduardo is very handsome. But it’s naive of him to think he can use that against me. Coming over to offer me a drink like that? Sorry, baby, but Mama isn’t going to give in.” Dawn spotted Lewis out of the corner of her eye, watching the party while nursing a drink; his feet were tapping to the beat, and he was gripping his glass tightly. She knew his mind was racing—she could sense how much the atmosphere was making him nervous—so she decided to approach him. She struck up a friendly conversation about the music—a song by some female pop artist was playing, though she couldn't tell exactly who it was, given her preference for classical music and modern jazz. Lewis remarked that he didn't care for those untalented female singers, saying he was more into alternative music—maybe rock. He complained that the party was boring and walked away. *Dawn’s Confessional: “Winning this is going to be way too easy. People reveal more than they realize. Reading them will be a breeze.” The party unfolded throughout the night, with everyone enjoying themselves in their own way. Rainolds seized the moment, flirting with each of the other players at least once during the evening. While chatting with Tex, Kimmie mentioned that she never forgot a face, no matter how much time had passed since she last saw it. Tex noticed that Kimmie seemed to be glancing at Bigbryy during the conversation, but decided not to dwell on it—it might just have been his imagination. DAY 2: The next morning, the participants woke up one by one and were welcomed by Doug in the dining room, where a beautiful breakfast spread had been prepared. Jordan remarked that they would end up being spoiled by such hospitality. Most of them still seemed tired from the previous night's party, but they decided to open up a bit more about themselves while gathered around the table. Gabs mentioned that she had considered backing out of the show and had left a massive project behind in the outside world to be there. Bigbryy said he wanted to organize a fashion show featuring all of them once the program ended. The conversation was lively and everyone was engaged until they heard an alarm coming from outside. Confused about what was happening, they all stepped out and found the same jeeps from the night before, along with instructions to get into the vehicles. The participants were driven to the ruins they had spotted earlier; upon arrival, they found an arena ready and waiting for them. Doug was there, waiting for their arrival. “Good morning, competitors! I hope you enjoyed last night and today’s lovely breakfast. But now, it’s time for things to get serious. Here, you will face the first Main Event. You all agreed to be here without knowing exactly what that would entail, so before we kick off the Main Event, I’ll explain a bit about how the game works. Right now, each of you has 100 Reputation Points (RP); that is your starting total. The Main Event will be the primary factor in determining your RP; depending on your performance, you can gain or lose points, and that will shape your fate in the game. The three players with the lowest RP totals in each round will face off in a Duel, where the loser will leave the island. But the Main Event isn’t the only way to earn RP—there are other possibilities you’ll discover soon.” All the participants were left open-mouthed by the news. *Dawn’s Confessional: “Just what I needed. This complicates things a bit, but it doesn’t rattle me.” Doug then began to introduce the first Main Event: “Today, you’ll face an endurance challenge. Each of you will take your place at a pre-assigned station. At each station, there’s a cable running through a pulley; on the other end is a platform where weights will be added, and you must keep that platform suspended. To keep things fair, each participant starts with a load equal to 10% of their body weight, and every 10 minutes, an additional 6% of their body weight will be added to the platform. Anyone who lets the platform touch the ground is eliminated. The last person standing wins. They’ll receive the most RP and the privilege of sleeping in the mansion again tonight, along with three people of their choice. The others will head to the campsite.
