DNTM S4 Ep 1 Unwanted Critiques

Hi, this is Nico, and here I am sharing my thoughts and opinions on the photos from Dimitra's Next Top Model. Let's hope I can continue doing this. I'm already coming off a week of headaches and migraines, so we are doing amazing. I'm not going to go into detail because there are like 100 models. I'm going to be short, sweet, and uplifting (maybe) but remember at the end the day you don't have to care for these because I am not a judge. I was not a winner. I was a stinky loser. I just want to type on my keyboard and hear the ASMR shit. Once we get to maybe Top 10-12 I will get deeper into this (and hopefully I'm digging in) 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 THEME: 🎁 Gift Wrapped 🎀 LOOKING FOR: Elements such as ribbons, bows, gift boxes, and luxury packaging to create a high-fashion editorial image. CENTER of the attention. You are not wrapping the gift (that is the job of the losers from Seasons 1-3). You are the gift! 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 My Critiques: 🟢Words & What Gift You Are Giving (Besides You Technically): MissMiranda: Love the pose and outfit. I don't know how I feel about you holding the certificate. I guess it gives you something to do, but it could go away. I wish you had shoes on because the feet just seem a bit off-putting, and there is too much of the golden color that can wash away some details. Why include a ray of light if it will get neglected by the rest of the gold. Other picky detail. Maybe "Dimi Collection" intstead of "Kovaze Collection" since it is the show but that is just me being nitpicky. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: A Diamond? Tjamal9106: This is really nice. Your back really hurts laying on those diamonds but beauty is pain. I love how the ribbon is wrapped around you and the bow placement. Maybe could do a bit more with the pose because it does show you are comfortable but not make it feel "lazy". Love the detail of the "To DNTM thing". Good job! 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Lots of Diamonds (which is better than one Diamond) Manon: It's giving, Hey baby, I'm the gift right before you all do adult things (sex, I think I can say that; please don't ban me. I'm just an 18+ User). Do I think it fits the full theme? Sure if I knew what the theme was. If I didn't then well idk. Maybe if you were holding a box, that could help, because your hand pose is giving "oh my back". I like the outfit, and the fabric draping is nice, I just hmmm don't know, but I still like and will probably look back at this 100 times before making a decision. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Lots of Fabric Vanili: Very similar to tjamal (Just going by order of appearance so idk who originated let's put person in a box and be sexy trend), but what makes his stand our more than yours is that the photo needs to zoom in more. I want to see more of your beauty. I shouldn't be straining my eyes even with zoom and since the background is mostly the same, it isn't like we are losing much of if you did that. Second is the color. There is a lot of red and it gets lost in with the details. You can do different shades and textures, but I think youy laying on something silver or maybe just a textured black would have been better to make you pop out more. Yes you are in the center but it takes my eyes a moment to get there with all this red happening. The pose and look is great, but it would be much better with those little changes. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Red Wine Zee_: At first I thought this was a perfume bottle because of the clarity of things, but then I am thinking, okay, this is going in the luxury end, like maybe the story is that you are this beautiful princess doll figurine in this luxurious box. If you could add a silottete of padding/stuffing where they put dolls in to ensure they don't break, I think that would help the illusion. I know this is about modeling, but if the prompt is saying you are the gift, I think that would help, cause again, at first I thought perfume bottle until I didn't see the part that goes "pst, pst". Now that could be a little detail because everything else looks great from the pose, the glow effect on the package, and even the outfit. Maybe look at the camera, but I think that would be more of a judge's choice on that, and even so, it isn't crucial, where I could see the image being the worst one because of something very detailed (I didn't zoom in for imperfections like extra toes, eyes, ears, or whatever that the ai images does so I could miss that). But besides that, great job! 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁:At first Perfume but now Doll Amandasings04: Well...I heard this season they are giving someone training on how to do well so they can actually compete for season 5 and I found that girl...jk jk (please don't eject me from ASBB3). I really love the look. It's giving me best friend vibes that will beat someone up for you, so don't fucking mess with her. I like you standing on the box, but if that box is the box that you came out of, I think the proportions are a bit off unless we are taking off body parts here. The bear purse thing is a cute addition, and we love a branding queen. After looking at your image, it could be the angle of the photo, but your head looks smaller than the rest of your body, which could be due to the perspective. I know you like to hold onto things (bats, mics, trade, etc.), so I hope we can see photos of you where your hands are free. Besides that, I like the overall route that you made with your outfit; I just wish the proportions of the box were more realistic to showcase you coming out of the box and then doing that pose, cause that is the story I'm getting from this. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Me an Auto Final 2 in ASBB3 but I guess the Teddy Bear Marilise: Well, well, well. So you are the one who said my photos were fucking ugly; that would make people start destroying Ai Data Centers (which idk if that is a compliment or not)... jk critiques were still in development back in the day. I like this photo. Part of me is thinking we are wrapping you up for your funeral...which is technically a gift???? to the afterlife??? So this all red works out because it looks like the dress is a big ass dress and you are lying on it. It isn't two different pieces of material that clash, and the ribbon is far apart, so it is okay to have it. Plus, with the black and marble flooring, it is not overflooring with the same color. I love the pose, especially the face (the cheek highlight!) The hand where it's going towards your head, I wish it was a bit away from the head because it looks like you are either scratching it or pointing to it, which ruins the illusion. If it was further away (so pressed against the box) it would be must lustful (I think I'm using that right). Besides that, good job! 🎁Gift You Are Giving 🎁: Heartbreak that you died Marquis: A lot is happening here, and, as I have mentioned before, with so much color, it needs to be blocked better. The way your jacket goes into the cushion of the box looks liquid and not pleasant; I am very confused about the texture of the pants, and the netting is interesting. It is giving randomized sim vibes. I would like to close the box instead, as I really love the open-the-box concept. I don't know if you were going for a ring or something, but if you were, I think the metallic texture should be more consistent. I think silver would be fine, but maybe a suit and then a small pop of color to showcase the stone, and then the bedding inside should just be straight black, not some 80s waterbed texture. Again, idk what material you were going with, but I think the idea you had was a good one, but the execution missed the mark. Finally, be aware of the lighting, as we lose some of your face in the shadows. It would be nice to see more of it, since it is a modeling competition... but you are the designer for the other elements too. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Something I probably will wear once and then will not wear again. Fireflyyy: This looks very safe to me, and with 959 models right now, I think this is fine, especially for learning the ropes and identifying what you can work on. I'm not fully getting the prompt; I'm getting more Valentine's Day vibes from this. I wish you did a bit more. I do appreciate you doing a different pose because that does stand out but I think your head, especially your face, is trying to give sexy, but it is giving more "I'm tired." like this was the last shot in this imaginary shoot that I was giving. You could have made this playful, like throwing the roses in the air or having them falling from the sky, and you try to catch them. The lid would be open, but if placed so we can still see that it is still a box (which I think making it a bit more like a box would be helpful too). Plus, the way you present yourself will shape the gift, so we want it to be fun and exciting, right??? The photo is still good and I think it will be safe overall, but it is good to be aware of these things now, especially with so many players left because you technically have a buffer (and the points stack well) but if this was something later on the comp it might big trouble, so better to learn the cautionary tale early on. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Roses LeQuishaQ: I really like this! I love the color, and I love the ribbon placed neatly on your body as well. The different types of chocolates (hopefully no cherry ones). I just love the little details, especially on the outside of the box saying "Be Mine". You didn't have to include that, but you did, and I like that. Possibly fix the lighting on the flooring that is around the box because it's hard to tell what this is; I'm guessing it's the same on the right side, which I'm a bit confused about what that is tbh. I would prefer to keep it consistently one item (the roses), but that is just a nitpicky thing tbh and bit more reaction on the face that you are biting it. I want to know what flavor you got. I am seeing sensual, but I want a bit more. Overall, great job! 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Chocolate GuiltyAsSin: Yes I see the box. But is it like a model in a museum and the museum decided to put a bow on it because it is the holidays???? Idk. The outfit looks like it is restricting/eating you and I don't think I get the full potential. At least you could have made the wrapping/box portion match it but I think that style is simplistic/minimalst and this isn't (if we aren't going with the museum vision). Plus your eyes are just a tad bit open and I think they should be fully open. I do like the pose neck up though. I think both aspects could have good ideas separately, but I don't think they mesh well. I think this would still be safe though. Just a bit of a head scratcher. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Confusion Melanie: Very nice, soothing; I love the glow on your skin and the lighting that you have down. Maybe a bit more lotion on the knee, but it shows that we all have imperfections and that is what beauty is all about. That vainy foot though....you said you better pose my foot. You're comfortable with the pose, and the bedding you have is nice too; part of me thinks you should cross your leg to the other side for a more comfortable pose, but maybe I'm just really invested in that vainy foot LOL. Seeing the beads scattered around the background makes me wonder if you had some on you (not a lot) would help with the photo because I do think it is missing something, but overall your presence and everything is great! I'm looking forward to how you do this time around because I feel like S1 was a whole different game. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Pearls Spacelab: This is fine. Now I'm going to say this, and it will sound like an insult, but I mean it as a compliment. You are giving very "Yes I am hot, you wanna do it sometime?" douch vibes. Again, sounds like an insult, but it is a compliment, I promise!!! I think it the tie pull. The outfit is in interesting. It is like you are trying to make clowns hot and well that is why we have drag queens like Bianca Del Rio to do that job, so find another gimick. Jokes aside, this is a very interesting route and I don't mind it. The color scheme fits, the bedding in the gift fits the atmosphere, like are you a gift for the person whose party it is or maybe you are a gift for someone else (either of the parents...it is 2026 ya know) and maybe this story line is divorcee parents and one of them got remarried and the other didn't so to get revenge the single divorcee got a gift for child that is defitney not for child but used against for parent to ruin that marriage. I think that was on a sitcom before. But yeah. This isn't that bad, good job. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Spicing Up a Marriage or Ruining One, Depending on How the Episode Goes CupidStunt: This is good, but something about this feels a bit plasticky (which is ironic in a lot of ways). I think it may be the proportions of your pose and such. Like I think your seems out of place with the body and then the legs too. Mainly Barbie wanted to be a human, but she wished from Pandora's box and only got 75% of the wish come true and we wanted 100%, so just be aware of it. Like staring in my eyes in the picture makes me feel like I did something bad and I should donate to a charity. I do like how the box and everything is. Can't tell what is laying in your hair. Is that another crown or just glitter glue. Bit confused on this. Overall it gives safe in general with the little things needing to be fixed as you progress though. Love the outfit btw. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Barbie Antog: This is a very interesting approach. I like the out-of-the-box style, but I think the outfit might be a bit too much. Maybe keep the giant bow on the hair and make the outfit part a simple skirt/dress with the colors, covered with some beads, because I know getting out of those things is gonna get tangled and broken, and that's gonna be a mess. Then maybe some ribbon around the legs because I am glad that you did a nude pump because usually that is good to ensure you want to focus on the outfit, but I think with the pose and the color scheme, maybe not in this case (I tink cause you are showing a lot of skin that kinda matches it. If you had leggings or something I think it would be okay) Maybe a black to balance with the dark colors. Besides that, I do love the pose and everything. Neck below might be a tangled headphone mess, but neck up you have calm, collected, and poised, so good job on that! The background looks like you are mini or something; I can't tell or maybe a promo for a show, I don't mind it but idk how the judges will feel (or maybe they ignored it LOL) 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Beads and Bows Fancy: This is a very interesting look, with some choices I shall discuss. First, yes to the brand. Gotta spread the Dimitra name loud. The pose you open yourself open very well but I'm confused on the hat/hair combo. I could go back and check your picture on the main page, but that takes so much effort that I already used on this that I wasn't planning on doing, but I am a liar, but are those white strips highlights or a netting with the hat???? I think it is the first one. I think the hat is an interesting choice, but you could be making a statement, and you do that. The boots pop out, and honestly, I like that choice. Maybe showcases another side of you, or maybe you like to hear the click-clack that heels make. I must say the lighting on the box needs to be a bit brighter because if I didn't know the theme, I would think you were on a fluffy couch or something, even with the brand things behind you. The hinges help but when thinking outside of the box (puns intended) make sure it is executed to the best. Also same with the lighting on your face. Looking at the promo pic for this, I'd suggest working a bit more on your eyes, since you do have heterochromia. The pink is kind of there, but the purple isn't. If it is, then it isn't that distinct, but it should be, especially in your main avis since that is kind of the base of everything (and you picked it) 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: Honestly idk but like are we having tea? NotNicky333: I um....I want to give you grace... because my first photo was a Kovaze avatar and everything... but that was Season 1 Episode 1, when everything was new and I was learning the ropes... which I fixed in Season 1 Episode 2. We are now on Season 4, Episode 1, with like a ton of photos as references, so, um, I don't know what happened here. I don't know the context; I just see a photo. Yes, everyone is different, and all that fun stuff, and you could make a new wave of photos, but I like how the suspenders were made out of the ribbon, and um, you were smiling. I don't know where part of your legs were, so just be aware of that, and it seems that your suspenders have split your right nipple into two identical ones, which could be a birthmark, but still. 🎁Gift You Are Giving🎁: A better photo hopefully 🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩🟩 So I am a liar and was supposed to give short comments...yeah well try again next time.
