Kovaze: The Past, The Present, and the Future, Henny. π πΎβ¨
Heyyy y'all ππ
πΎ
Now listen, besties... y'all probably noticed I've been droppin' update after update after update these past few days. Like damn, girl, do she ever sleep? The answer is absolutely not. π
For the past few months, I've been clockin' into my little 9-to-5, comin' home tired as hell, and spendin' whatever crumbs of free time I had left workin' on this site. And chile... these past few weeks? It became real obvious, real quick, that Kovaze was needin' way more attention than I could give while also pretendin' to be a functional member of society. π
So eventually I had to sit down with myself and ask:
"Girl... is it the job or is it the dream?"
And baby...
The answer was givin' VERY much dream. Periodt. π
πΎβ¨
Because I love this site downnnn. I love this community bad. I love what we've built, and I love every single thing I know this platform can become.
And imma keep it a buck fifty with y'all...
I genuinely think one of the reasons so many other sites flopped, folded, packed it up, and got sent to the shadow realm is because the people behind them didn't believe in them enough to go all in.
Now that's just tea. βπ
Meanwhile everybody and they mama been tellin' me:
"Girl, don't quit your job."
"Girl, that's risky."
"Girl, be realistic."
And I'm sittin' over here like...
Baby, respectfully? I hear y'all. Love that for you. Anywayβ ππ
πΎ
Because when it comes to Kovaze, I got not ONE crumb of doubt. Not a single ounce. Not a molecule. Not an atom.
The vision is visioning.
The blueprint is blueprinting.
The manifestation is manifesting.
And that's on period. β¨
Now let me give y'all the lore because some of y'all wasn't outside for this era.
I got into web development when I was NINE years old, okayyyy? Little baby me was over there makin' Wix websites for my friends at school like somebody's auntie runnin' a small business. π
By 15? Baby I was already eatin' programming languages for breakfast. HTML? Devoured. CSS? Gone. JavaScript? Ate. Left no crumbs.
By 18, I started buildin' what would eventually become Kovaze.
Then in 2020, I launched Blindsyde.
And whewww, baby...
Blindsyde was GHETTO. πππ
It had Blogs.
It had Shops.
It had Frenzy.
And Frenzy didn't even have a POV yet, chile. We was fightin' for our lives.
The three and a half people that actually used it back then know EXACTLY what I'm talkin' about. Y'all remember that struggle bus. π
A week later I shut the whole thing down because university and work were beatin' my ass.
Every now and then I'd come back, touch the code a little, move some things around, sprinkle a lil' update here and there, and then disappear again.
Meanwhile the project was sittin' in the corner collectin' dust, cobwebs, tax forms, and ancient artifacts.
But even then?
BABY I KNEW.
I knew I was comin' back.
I knew the story wasn't over.
I knew one day I'd return with a clearer vision, a stronger platform, and way less nonsense.
And look at us now.
The comeback is givin' cinema. π¬β¨ππ
