one of the biggest culture shocks
of living in the north vs the south of the us is how obsessed people in the south are with drinking sweet tea with every single one of their meals and that shit has like 3 tons of sugar in it and every single restaurant in the south serves sweet and unsweetened tea whereas like almost no one drinks that nasty shit up in the north and restaurants don't really have it like that

McDonalds has sweet tea and when I worked there many years ago I remember being horrified that making a batch of sweet tea involved like a pound of sugar
Cherry do many people in Wisconsin even order that
yawnha at McDonald's? It was super popular when they introduced it, yeah. Probably has gone less since but I assume its on the menu everywhere. Tbh sometimes people go to McDonald's just for drinks. Idk what the prices are now but they used to have 32 ounce drinks for super cheap. I'd have so many drive thru orders of just a large coke or diet
thanks for the Ted Talk
Miami of course, happy to educate
