This is all so silly
I'm Latino, but my avatar is black because shes PRETTER THAN THE WHITE AVATARS TO ME LMAO That's literally IT.
As long as you're not going around speaking in AAVE and mocking black culture, having a black avatar isn't CULTURAL APPROPRIATION or BLACK FISHING. I need y'all to touch some grass and stop with the virtue signaling. Now, if any black users want to talk about it, I'm all ears.
I have always created black and brown characters in video games because, for a long time, they didn't exist in video games! I like the way clothes look better on this avatar and God forbid we have one less blonde white avi on Kovaze.
Your virtual avatar is not your identity.

RobbieRIOT Hey honey! I actually really appreciate this post. I am not black myself, but for the longest time especially when I first started getting into reality television back before the diversity initiative in casting on shows like Survivor and Big Brother, I would always stan the black females because they were sole representatives of a community and it took a lot of strength and courage to do so, something I always admired and respected, and as a result started dressing up certain virtual avatars in video games to pay tribute to the lack of representation seen on reality television. I think the new wave of hyper woke culture is incredible, and understand why people take offense to dressing up virtual avatars as someone that isn't your identity, but I do think it goes a little too far in policing what people can or cannot choose to do. So long as it's not being offensive or perpetuating any negative stereotypes or acting like that IS your identity, I don't see the problem with it. Back when I was actually active on this site in the beginning I had a black female avatar, but I started seeing comments like "oh, you're not really black, why are you blackfacing" so I changed because I didn't want to offend anyone, but randomly logging on and seeing this post I think you explained yourself really well and touched on something really important which is that a virtual avatar is not someone's identity and people jump to such extreme conclusions immediately regardless of the inoffensive intent. You look sickening as always!
TeaFiercelyBoots I relate so much to everything you just typed it's insane lol thank you for such a thoughtful response my love!
girl why is this even a thing? fuck the haters
Latino en qué sentido mi amor, de donde eres? Un beso, sé cómo Barbie, lo que quieras ser
Appropriates women so hard
Toque Def. a conversation to be had about why all us gays prefer female avatars lol
RobbieRIOT oh I know why I do it and I do my best to be respectful as well.

Amandasings04 This isn't a call out blog love your issues with Brat are not mine. You won't catch me claiming to be black in an Outcasted game for a joke or defending that shit.
Amandasings04 I also can't really personally think of any instances where you "acted black" lol
RobbieRIOT oh i know exactly what you're saying girl i plussed it i was just being cunty telling you to @ someone
It's giving: "Because I'm guilty of this it can't be wrong"
JACK_O_LANTERN It's giving you think you're doing something and you're just virtue signaling lol
JACK_O_LANTERN I can help you find some local resources for racial task forces or organizations in your area if you really want to be someone who makes a difference.
RobbieRIOT I advice you do the same but in regards to morals and ethics.
JACK_O_LANTERN Enlighten me on my morals and ethics for calling out fake social justice, Jack.
RobbieRIOT i mean most call out blogs have an @ so what's tea robbie
please dont touch my poonanie
You make good points especially with the video game comment and you not speaking AAVE and mocking the culture which I think people who have tend to dress up in black avatars have done before (especially on tengaged). I think it is important to get input from black voices because they matter but this site and should be a safe place for all. These things should not go unnoticed.
what is AAVE???
DOOM African-American Vernacular English
I don’t think you were the target of any of those points. There are people on here who absolutely do all of those things you said are unacceptable, but for some reason on here defending your friends is more important than having any morals.
Ethan I agree that I was not the target of the posts but people have made snide little remarks to me in the past and it pisses me off LOL
Yeah but defending cultural appropriation brings you woke points
