Survivor 41-49 are indistinguishable with the same cast 9 times in a row.
The show needs themes, if for anything else, to differentiate between the casts.
I really miss Survivor lol

Tbh if you pay enough attention it's easy to distinguish all of them. And to be fair i highly doubt a casual watcher will distinguish any of the old seasons too.
saying survivor 48 and 46 feel the same is crazy but i agree with the overarching point
45-47 was a really good run and 49 postmerge was good bc likable people went far, the rest? chop honey
they need to start casting problematic people again. im sick of the kumbayah shit and nobody ever being bitter.
They absolutely have a character map they cast for. It has the same balance on each cast. I enjoy the season but I agree they need to mix it up for 51+. They think mixing it up means all these twists, but it really could just be themes and challenges and go back to the roots a bit.
