Honestly, my degree has almost killed me.
However I am a year and a half away from being a qualified Dental Hygienist. I really don't recommend this degree since It's very demanding physically and mentally and spending 10 hours on your feet every day. Honestly the only great thing about this field is there's tons of jobs due to there being a lot of staff turnovers and the supply and demand is high at the moment so I likely will never be out of a job for long.

I’m really sorry you’re going through this 🥺 It sounds so draining, both physically and mentally. I can relate more than I’d like to… my work has been exhausting me lately too. I feel like more and more people are starting to feel this way, so you’re definitely not alone 🤍 I really hope things get easier for you soon and that it all pays off in the end ✨
any job can kill you - i'm a librarian and i've seen librarians contract fungus infections due to poor shelves hygiene and dust on books... working kills us day by day slowly.
BRAT Honestly, I do believe as humans we were never meant to be working 10+ hour days to just survive. I hate the current world but unless you were born into extreme wealth you don't have much choice or options.
Fairytales i do believe that working is necessary for the betterment of our society but like... i work 9 hours a day and it's fucking exhausting. it should be 4 days a week and like 6 hours a day let's be so for real here... when my shift is about to end i become purely useless anyway and don't produce anything valuable
