I've lost 8 of my last 10 games by luck comps. And by luck comps, I mean pure luck -- deal or lucky drop.

I love the comps here, but Tengaged's Numbers blows Shapes out of the fuckin' water

Make the Top 100 read horizontally. Right now there's more emphasis placed on #42 and #71 (or something around there) than there is on 14th, 15th, and 16th. Make the left hand side for top 10 I suppose, then have it read 11, 12, 13 across the top on first row. Second row is 14th, 15th, 16th, and so on.

You know damn well if you join now then people are gonna start joining and it's gonna start in the next 5-10 minutes. Might as well join. Like, this isn't tengaged. Being online and NOT playing a game?

sin Have a team of “mentors” who premade games (arena in particular) with the noobs. Their job is literally to play with the noob and give them a chance to have a good experience. Assign two mentors to each noob. Each week for a month the mentors rotate, that way the noob has someone else who is helping them along — someone with a different friend group with whom the noob may be able to develop connections. Obviously, premades are boring, but they already exist. Why not have them serve a purpose, one aimed at the long-term growth of the site?

EASY CAST -- MY AVERAGE PLACEMENT IS CURRENTLY 10TH IN WEAKEST LINK

It's another game completely reliant on comps, but the benefit to it would be the ability to practice competitions for an extended period of time. 21 Players playing to reach final 3. 5 minute day changes, and the clock is present on your competition page. Each day, everyone plays a competition. How long? That's up to you! Two players are eliminated each day: the player with the LOWEST point total AND the player who saved their comp LAST. Maybe it's a bad comp for you, and you need to play longer to get a high enough score to survive. But make sure you're not the last to finish, or that's it for you anyways! Maybe it's your best comp, and you feel confident with your score after a regular amount of time (1:20). But, can you be sure it's good enough against people playing for as much as 5 minutes? The concept remains for the entire game. At final 3, the last player to save is out, as well as the lowest score between the other two players. Sin
