Although this type of look was very common in a very limited prompt, went with a dracula inspired look for this photoshoot! #DNTM3
Hello!! Recently, Me (Kermit) and OhEmGee (Miss Piggy) have embarked on an amazing race game together across the world and thought it would be cool to write a travel blog of every leg, pics are included too! Spent around 90 minutes, all by hand, writing this so really hope yall enjoy! Our team name is Muppet Show (We're The Muppets and Johnny Tara themed, dont question it lmfao) ----- Before I start just thought I'd give a quick explination and what the game is. It's basically a live around the clock version of the amazing race hosted on discord, with challenges taking quite awhile, a lot of them being puzzle or riddle based which I love. We have to book flights, and they are actual flights, and we land when the flight lands IRL, so if it lands 3:00 PM London Time, I start racing 9:00 AM my time. The legs typically take about 24 hours, however, 12-16 hours of them are typically just transport times between places which are used using google maps and an economy system where you can choose when/where to spend. I competed last season and came out victorious, however, this season the cast is even more stronger so it will for sure be a tough one, I'll document a few of the challenges and just the race here, have fun reading! ----- We set off July 1st, 11:00 AM from an unknown location, and using this one picture of a lady, had to decipher where we were (this image gives me trauma) Eventually, after an hour and a half and working with our only ally at the time, we were able to use an online image editor to find a secret hidden coordinates in the image, and when entered into google maps, led to Santa Monica Pier, we were off! --- We noticed there was only 7 teams with us at the time, and we thought it was likely a split start of 2 groups of 7 teams, despite the host saying otherwise 😭 Anyways, from there, we set off the Santa Monica Pier doing a few other starting line challenges, we were trading 1st place back and forth between us and our ally staying a few hours ahead of 3rd place. After about 8 tasks of mostly riddles, and map-based sorting challenges, we made it out West Los Angeles after 6 hours and were told to head to the airport! Once reaching there we were told to book a flight to Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia! However, before that a twist was revealed. It was a U-Turn Vote to where you had to vote a team, and later on in the leg when the detour happened, it would be revealed whoever got the most votes would be U-Turned. We decided to U-Turn a team that we thought was really bad at challenges in the hopes it wouldn't come back to bite us. However, as I won Season 1 we were likely cooked with that target on our back. The flight options were extremely bad, and even though we arrived 8 hours ahead of 4th, us 4 ended up equalized on the same flight to Mongolia (with a connection in Seoul). The rest though were very far behind from us. In this game you have to book all transports using google maps and flights. After about 29 hours of waiting once we reached the LAX airport, we finally landed in Mongolia! I was on vacation to Puerto Rico at the time so was AFK at some points, but still was able to mostly be here. Although you can spend money in the race, we dont like to spend it till later when the weaker competition is out, so we have spent 0 bucks all leg (will be a common theme for next 5-7 legs likely lol, transports will be very long). For the inital challenges, we had to do a web-game similar to stacker on here, I was out of there in exactly 45 minutes. Next up we had the detour! I chose to do one side, and although the comp initally had a host error in it, we were able to get it sorted out and got some time credit. We made our way to the U-Turn Board after a 2.5h walk and sadly, we were U-Turned and had to take a 2.5h walk back to do the other side and also do that challenge. It was a challenge to where we had to translate our team name (Muppet Show) both in text form, and once we did that, write it on paper IRL. I didnt have any paper so I wrote on a napkin in the Air BNB I was staying in lmfao After that, we were in 4th place at the time, a long ways behind the top 2, but remaining steady with 2nd. We did 2 more challenges that leg, one where we recieved 12 city maps, like the ones listed below, and we had to find which 12 mongolian cities they went to, and afterwards we would recieve our clue. And finally, we headed to the final challenge to where we had to sort people on a pyramid like a logic puzzle basically We headed to the pitstop at Bogd Khaan Palace Museum and checked-in 3rd out of 7, which I'll take as a win. ----- The race has been super fun super far! Leg 4 begins in a week but I'll try to go back and do the previous weeks. Route: Santa Monica Pier -> Playa Del Ray -> Los Angeles International Airport -> Seoul, South Korea (Layover) -> Chinggis Khaan International Airport -> Zaisan Memorial -> Gorkhi-Terelj National Park -> Gandantegchinlen Monastery -> Gorkhi-Terelj National Park (Back beacuse of U-Turn) -> Gandantegchinlen Monastery (back again) -> Sükhbaatar Square -> Genghis Khan Equestrian Statue -> Bogd Khaan Palace Museum
Back with my series sharing my HD #DNTM3 photo, and alternatives I had. I feel this week I didn't bring my a-game as I feel I overcompressed my image after so many images in the same tab, so hope to take this can be a learning lesson to future prompts! Would love to hear feedback that would help me improve 🙂 Submitted Photo: Alternatives:
Wanted to give some EXCLUSIVE alternative photos for #DNTM3 for this first photoshoot. Here was the actual photo decided to go with, really liked the overall atmosphere and outfit so went with it: Although I loved the overall scene of it, I thought I could do more and I kinda looked EXTREMELY HIGH: I decided not to go down this route as I wanted to keep it classy for the viewers at home: This was a very very early draft of the pic, but decided now this is the real deal and I wanted to try to spice up the picture rather than going basic: Would love to hear any construstive feedback, positive or negative, about any photos if yall would like! Tysm for viewing this blog
Taking in feedback from my cast reveal photo, I took a risk this week and attempted to bring a bold and eye catching image for yall! Hope yall enjoy 🙂 #DNTM3
