Hi everyone! I’ll be sharing with you all the format for Royale today. The trailer will drop soon, where you’ll first lay eyes on this beauty. First, an announcement from me: With the Royale format now 99% complete and development progressing into the deeper stages, I’ll be subjecting myself to solitary confinement starting tomorrow for at least 7 days. I will be focusing all of my energy into completing this game, so I will be MIA from my regular admin duties, but Head_Mod will have the ability to contact me in an emergency via a discreet outlet. I will select one of the moderators (not Head Mod) to be acting admin whilst I am in solitary. * THE ROYALE FORMAT Enrolment - Enrolment will open in cycles. During these cycles, users can nominate to join the games. Once each Royale game is completed, players will be randomly distributed into games. There will be 75-100 players in each game. Bloodbath (The culling) - When the game begins, you will have 30 minutes to decide whether to join the bloodbath or run away (if you’re offline, you will run away by default). Those who join the bloodbath will be in there for the next hour. Here, weapons will be given out that must be fought for in group fights. If 7 people want to grab the arrows, they must have a group fight for it. During this time, those who ran away will be randomly teleported to one of 24 other locations. Locations - The map is a 5x5 grid. The bloodbath takes place in the center. You can move to a location next to you by clicking on the map grid, which will cost you thirst points. However, the map doesn’t show where each location is — as it’s randomised every game. You will have to use information and memory to navigate. Locations include: Waterfall, Forest, Cave, Desert, etc. Each location will have its own significance, or item popups. You will *only* see people in your location, and their messages. You cannot see what was typed before you joined a location. You will not know who’s in which location besides your own. Information is key! Items - There will be different items in the game, such as arrows for shooting a target, an energy drink, a GPS tracker, a medkit, etc. Food and Water - Food will be obtained through popups, like all items in the game. Water depletion makes it slower for you to move around the map. The lower you are on food, the more weakened your comp scores become. Food can be shared between players - however, the map will be riddled with poisonous foods that will cause immediate death. The person who picks up the poisonous item will know it’s poison, but the player they send it to will not. Be careful who you accept kindness from ;) Sleeping - For 8-10 hours a day, you are able to sleep in a camouflage tent. You cannot be attacked by other players during this time. However, once your slumber is over, you will be out in the open. Fighting - Players can fight other players in the same location as them. If your friend is being attacked, you will have the option to join the fight with them, and add a small % of your score to their score. But if your friend loses, you will all lose health as well! Death - If you reach 0 health, you will die. Winner - Be the last alive. * If you have any questions or suggestions regarding the format, please share them now before my departure!
