Feedback has been overwhelmingly positive so far. The comp gets a lot easier once you play it a few times and understand it. For the next hour 2 hours, games will be RELICS ONLY. Starfall has felt like a luck comp at times and thus has been de-randomised. It will play exactly the same, more stars will still spawn the more accurate you are, but it will no longer feel different from game to game. The maths behind the update (for those interested): Respawn chance for missed star: 65% ----> Every 4/6 stars (66.6%) Respawn chance for collected star: 85% ----> Every 8/9 stars (88.9%) An additional star will still spawn every 0.5 seconds. You should see slightly more stars, but the game will be consistent and entirely skill-reliant :)

A few months ago, I briefly mentioned I was going through a personal loss. It was actually the loss of a close family member. I know I've been a little bit distracted recently but I'm back and focused on delivering some great updates for the summer. Here are some things that are on the way. 𝗞𝗢𝗩𝗔𝗭𝗘 𝗥𝗨𝗡𝗪𝗔𝗬 Designs are the reward for playing games on here. And yet as of now, they serve no more than a cosmetic purpose. We're introducing a new weekly fashion game where you can submit a look according to a theme, and then walk down the runway for all of Kovaze to witness. Be the best dressed and your look will be forever displayed in the KOVAZE MAGAZINE. 𝗖𝗛𝗘𝗔𝗣𝗘𝗥 𝗚𝗜𝗙𝗧𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗣𝗦 There has been some concern regarding the price of gifting shops, and they’re a little higher than we would want. A solution will be implemented to keep the shops game fair and soften prices up for gifting shop owners. Expect some updates to all areas of shops. 𝗔𝗖𝗛𝗜𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗠𝗘𝗡𝗧𝗦 Achievements and trophies are coming to Kovaze this summer. Show off your craziest achievements on the website, or show off trophies that you've won in special events! Why a game rotation? -- As we can already see, certain game modes fill a lot less frequently. The aim is to pick that momentum up, by having a lot of fun different formats that are rotating on the daily, so that there always is something new to experience, and your day on Kovaze starts feeling more unique rather than expected! Correct answers now award 12 points, and incorrect answers now deduct 4 points, instead of 10/-3. This means 25% accuracy (the expected accuracy from random guessing) now results in a net point gain of 0. Scores on the leaderboard have been replayed and all autoclicked instances have been removed.

We have a variety of different games, but I think one thing that's missing is a slow Big Brother style game. This is something we've wanted since October. We tested out the "Sharks" game in December, and it just didn't meet our standards, so it was back to the drawing board. In regards to Castings, I'm not in favour of adding it, but I've been listening to the castings crowd and what they love about it: easy entry for new players and the chance to meet new people. I want to incorporate those elements into a fully fleshed out Big Brother style game instead. What I know so far is that enrolment will occur at the same time each week for everyone. Anyone who signs up during the week will be randomly divided into a house/game. Think Survivor enrolment, but happening automatically every week. The idea here is that as the player pool grows, you're less likely to end up in a game with people you've just played with, which is a key focus of this format. At the same time, I still want it to stay true to the Big Brother inspired experience, that's the identity of the site at the end of the day. The goal is to capture the essence of Big Brother ORGs while offering it in a more casual, accessible, and unintimidating way. Let me know your thoughts and ideas!

Please stop wasting your time asking. I said it would cause a premading issue and it did. It will be like Celebrities but the draw will occur every time the previous game ends. 50 People chosen to play out of 100 applicants will NOT result in "people never getting to play". If there are more applicants, more games will open up. Whenever I see someone asking for open enrolment, I view them as pro-premades. I will never be pro-premades. Do not waste your breath.

In fact, Kovaze is the only business in the world where you can walk in, not buy anything, criticise (and sometimes attack) the staff and still be allowed to stay. Respectful feedback is always being heard. Good suggestions get put on my to-do list, bad suggestions get filtered out. And yes, everyone has bad ideas, including myself (See: Rooms)!
